This TV forces this "Magic Pointer" on you and you cannot turn it off. It is beyond frustrating and yet another example of a tech company providing a feature that nobody asked for but forces everyone to use. I have tried every trick I could find online and nothing has worked. It is unbelievably annoying considering how much money I paid for this TV. I'm the kind of person that will go the rest of my life without ever buying an LG product again over something so obnoxious. The picture on the TV is incredible though, so if you don't mind an overly clunky and counterintuitive UI, then this TV will probably be okay for you.

I bough this bigger 77” for our living room already having the 65” in the bedroom. This TV has the most vivid and natural looking motion picture I’ve seen. Colours are true and not over boosted - the remote control is a dissapointment. Feels and looks cheap and plasticky. The motion sensor in it is not accurate as much as my 7 years old LG to remote. However apart from the remote I have nothing else to add on the down side. The sound is quite clear and perfect for movies and watching tv in general. If you’re listening to lots of music is worth considering a sound bar. I have to also mention the ultra thin bezel. It is made from brushed metal and looks very premium

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the 83 inch class LG OLED evo C4 4K Smart TV, OLED83C4AUA. The picture quality is incredibly sharp and crisp. I especially love the Filmmaker Mode with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, which really enhances the viewing experience. It feels as close to having an actual theater in my home as possible. Also the brightness booster technology really enhances how amazing the picture quality is and the enhancements of the pixels is evident from the first viewing. An added bonus is all the pre-loaded streaming apps and over 300 free channels. The TV is also relatively thin and light given how large the screen is, as it looks great mounted on the wall. The TV does come with a stand that seemed to be pretty high quality, but I didn’t end up needing it since I already have a wall mount. The ultra-thin matrix rests on an elegant, metal, and centrally placed base. An interesting stylistic element is the finish of the back of the TV - it resembles architectural concrete a bit. The LG OLED EVO C4 can also be hung on the wall, and it seems even slimmer without the base. The set includes a Magic remote control with a gyroscope, which allows you to control the TV using both a rich set of buttons (including for VOD services) and on the principle of a computer mouse, i.e. a virtual cursor controlled by the movement of the hand with the remote control. This is a very convenient solution that significantly speeds up the selection of functions or selection of films on streaming services. The microphone built into the remote control allows you to operate the TV using voice commands. Just press a button and speak to the remote control. I have to admit that it works very efficiently. LG OLED EVO C4 is fully compatible with all major HDR standards, i.e. Dolby Vision, and HDR10+. The TV is also equipped with intelligent adaptive modes - they adjust the brightness and color intensity to the conditions in the living room. The audio system that LG OLED evo C4 is equipped with offers excellent sound quality. I was very impressed with its dynamics and reproduction of low tones. I was pleasantly surprised at light the tv was how easy it was to unpack and set up with just two of us! Once the TV was powered up the guide was super helpful in getting it set up optimally for our needs. Having only used LCD TVs in the past we were instantly blown away with how black the blacks actually were on this, the amount of contrast between the light and dark parts of a scene was like nothing we had experienced before and this was before we tried any HDR content! HDR really is a game changer, we re-watched an episode of Fallout so we could compare and the extra detail in the highlights and the additional contrast in the darker areas was just night and day. I don't think I will ever be able to go back now! The LG C4 is also amazing as a gaming monitor as well which really surprised me. I hooked up my gaming PC a loaded up Cyberpunk 2077 and Horizon Forbidden West. The details and quality was amazing. I will certainly be using the tv for more story driven and imersive games going forward! I can't believe we have been depriving ourself of what the LG OLED range offer for so long! Anyone who is on the fence certainly has to take the leap, it is worth every penny!

This tv delivers in every aspect. Setup was straightforward, the updates downloaded quickly and once we gave it a "test drive" with some high quality action scenes we knew we'd made the perfect choice. The picture quality is simply incredible, the colours so vivid, motion superb, and we were blown away. I can't really comment on the inbuilt speakers, as we used an LG soundbar instead (also superb!) , which I think a TV of this calibre warrants to make the complete package. This is a very solid investment for any home, and I know will keep us very happy for years to come for our movie nights together, or when we have friends around for the football too. Highly recommended

I like the size and how thin it is which makes the TV look modern in the living area. I love the remote and that there is a mouse feature. It makes it much easier to browse my favorite apps. Some of the more popular apps were pre-installed and that made using the Tv so much easier. The picture quality is amazing, I feel like I am in a movie theatre with the quality. The picture quality does not look distorted and the lighting is just right. I got this TV because I enjoy watching movies and streaming and felt it was the right size to get the job done. This is our second LG OLED television and it’s even better than the previous one. LG has the clearest display of any of the current OLED TV’s. The clarity, the brilliant colors, even when viewed from an angle, makes the LG OLED TV’s the best on the market.
