85" Samsung Crystal TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV was easy to assemble and place on our living room TV cabinet. The startup instructions were easy to follow and we were able to start viewing our shows immediately. Picture quality is awesome - love this TV.

Awesome Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy I upgraded to a larger screen plus better display for my living room. Great quality and not too large for area. Easy to get set up and looks amazing On MOVIE 🎬 night.. my only regret is that I wish I had a bigger place so I could have gotten a larger one. Thanks again Samsung. I will forever be a customer. From phones to laptops etc.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great picture unbelievable sound, set up was quick and easy. Remote is easy to use. The main onscreen Menu is a little bit cumbersome. Overall a great TV for the value. I would definitely recommend it.

Satisfaction

I am very pleased with the quality of this Samsung TV. This Smart TV was easy for me ( a 77 year old senior citizen ) to set up; the on-screen instructions were excellent. I am enjoying the vivid colors of this TV. My only issue is the two support legs. I had the 2 men setting it together place the legs so that the TV would be about 4-5 inches above the console. However, after 2 days, the left support moved to its lowest setting, and 2 days later, the right support leg did the same.

Very Happy With Purchase!!

After having our 65" Samsung TV for about two months, we couldn't be happier! The picture is just GREAT! Crystal clear during daytime and night time. Sports look incredible. We have noticed that even older movies from the 80s & 90s look much better than on our previous TV. I hope that get a long time use from the Samsung. My two previous TVs were a high end Hisense and a mid-tier VIZIO. Both lasted a total of 4 years, including having the Hisense repaired once under warranty!!

This is quite the upgrade from my old TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Going from an old ElGee 2020 model this one is stunning! The color depth and clarity is something to behold in person. The black levels, as I have the settings set, is literally rivaling an OLED nearly. I have a 45x microscope that I look at 4k screens with amd this one has 4 times the pixel density of my older one. This VA panel in this tv has 8 pixel subsets in every pixel wheras my old tv has 2 per pixel. I'm not sure the technical term but I can see with my own eyes the Samsung has a much sharper picture and that's saying something bc the old one has a beautiful picture...it just also has a melting and cracking backlight diffuser which is NOT a problem with Samsung TVs I understand so for that I am thankful. I really love how it integrates into all of my other Samsung stuff with Smart Things. I can tell my tv to find my phone. How awesome is that? I can tap my phone on the top of my tv and automatically transfer the music that's playing on my phone to my tv which frees up the phone to do other cool stuff. It has a light sensor in it which can be configured through Smart Things to make the tv do stuff depending on light level. So I can turn it on or off, when the light is bright or dim, based on predefined Routines. I use a streaming stick to offload all the processors heavy lifting and in practice it extends the life of my tvs by nearly double. But the processor in this tv is so stout it's not really even necessary. In short I LOVE it. I finally have my Samsung TV!

Very satisfied with this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were shopping to replace a Hisense TV that died of a lack of back lighting about 2 months after the warranty expired. This TV has been amazing, easy to set up plenty of preloaded apps and options, vivid color, very consistent with the sound and volume, easy to click through from one app to another. For someone who isn’t tech savvy this has been as close to set it and forget it as I could have hoped for. Thanks Samsung.

Cannot turn off Bluetooth. This is terrible.

This tv would be great except for one feature --- you cannot turn off the Bluetooth. If you have neighbors who are trying to connect and are not careful, you will receive repeated notifications that block out the entire screen while you are trying to use the television. This is really annoying when playing video games. I only got this tv because my prior Samsung was amazing, but it allowed me to control things like whether the Bluetooth is on. Samsung send out an update to allow us to turn off Bluetooth. I am seriously thinking about getting an LG or just a computer monitor and throwing this television in the garbage. Samsung also collects a lot of information and does not disclose what it is collecting. It also unilaterally added news channels to my Home Screen and that cannot be removed. Basically the television removes all choice that ones has over a device.

This product has beautiful image qualities

I use it a lot to connect my phone or computer very easily with Smarthing. I still have to pay a home theater to complete my Samsung range and experience an immersive sound during my cinema or video games moments

User interface needs work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first smart TV and so far I love almost everything about it. It could be a little more user friendly both with the tv and remote. Picture is clear and vibrant. The sound is full, but it would improve with a sound bar. There are a few apps I used to have with Roku that aren't available. But when I tried to use my roku in the HDMI, the set didn't recognize it because it doesn't actually turn off and on. These few annoying aspects aren't enough to turn me off the product though. I'm a loyal Samsung user and expect to thoroughly enjoy my new tv.
