Problems

I like my Samsung smart TV. I have trouble finding the programs I like to watch. It would be nice if you could search for a program. Also there are no dates on anything. The picture is very dark.

Hi Janm, Thank you for your purchase and feedback on the DU8000 TV. If the image is too dim, try adjusting Picture Mode, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings. First, let’s ensure you are running the latest Firmware Update. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. Next, If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings. For darker scenes, I recommend Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic. Or you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings. You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings > All Settings> General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode. I hope this helps to improve your picture. This tv has great features and a great picture!!!!

Beautiful Picture

So far great TV. Was wondering why I had to have a Samsung account, glad i signed up. They have there own station that plays older content, which I love. Seems like all the new stuff is so violent and we wonder why people act the way they do today!

Great smart tv!

I appreciate that there are two ways for the remote to charge. It lasts longer with the solar charge and ive only had to charge the remote once. The TV itself has a great screen quality.

CC does not work.

T.V. is good, but cannot get the cc to work. Tried everything and even called about this problem, but AI was was not helpful. If you need cc I would not suggest this T.V.
