Trampoline Fun

Set up was a little difficult as the screws were tough to screw in, but my husband is strong and we were successful. My kids love the trampoline, especially my youngest with autism. He jumps for hours.

green threading disintegrated with 2 years

The green threading used to sew the enclosure disintegrated within 2 years which left it falling apart. The legs only slip down into another piece without locking which means they come out each time you have to move the trampoline to mow. The straps holding the enclosure on the posts are not durable enough without breaking. The foam protectors around the posts crack and split so duct tape them up after purchase otherwise they break and split into pieces. breaking.

DO NOT PURCHASE - REALLY

Do NOT purchase, they have decreased the quality of construction or some of the older reviews are lies. This trampoline has been used for 8 months by my less than 100 lb child. No adults or older teens ever on it. More than 13 springs have pulled out, the stitching having failed all around, one metal leg came unattached because of poor connections. DO NOT PURCHASE. SAM'S should immediately discontinue the product as it is beyond dangerous to users.

DON'T BUY!!!

This trampoline is bouncy, but that's about it. On day one of use, almost all the pad straps broke after the first bounce. After having the net up for a few days with NO use, the connectors broke off for no reason at all. Don't buy this item, save your money for something else!

Poor construction

We've owned this trampoline a little less than 1 year. Within the first few months the buckles that hold the springs to the mat started to break. Now the welds in the frame have broken. Cant find replacement parts for the frame. Our previous trampoline from Sam's (not sure the brand) lasted 5+ years with 3 boys. It's probably still under warranty but I'm not sure who to speak to or how to file a warranty claim.

Get a Skywalker instead

We bought the Upper Bounce trampoline after we left a Skywalker trampoline at our old house when we moved. I wanted a green jump pad vs a blue one to blend in with the backyard better. Why do they make such annoying colors?!? Anyway, this was great deal but as is always the case you get what you pay for. The UB (Upper Bounce) vs the SW (Skywalker) was rated higher for weight - 330lbs vs 225lbs - but it was waaaaay less sturdy. We had two adults and two kids on the SW with no problem. Two kids on the UB were making it shake. I opened the box and saw what appeared to be black scuff marks and glittery makeup on the cover/pad. My kids were so excited so I didn’t want to take it back and thought I would clean it. When I grabbed the poles they were greasy and the glittery silver substance came off on my hands. I called the company and they said that was normal. Again, I should have listened to my gut but the kids were so excited. We put it together with gloves on because we couldn’t touch the poles. Sams club mobile photo upload isn’t working so I can’t show you how horrible the glittery substance is. Putting together the net was a pain with a weird rope to hold it together. The SW net was easier and safer (less space to put your fingers in and get caught). The jump mat was thinner than the SW. My kids said “yay we can see through it to the grass!” And I was like that’s not a good thing! There was also a small knick in the jump mat that wasn’t smooth to touch. After one day of use the Upper Bounce legs (that already looked like they were leaning inwards) were even more inverted. Therefore, I don’t think it’s safe and will have to take it back. What a pain! If I hadn’t just had the Skywalker I would probably thought this Upper Bounce is great. Having compared both I know see the little differences that make the Skywalker a much better choice. Happy jumping!

Great quality

We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our 6 yo. The instructions were a little unclear but my husband got it put together in about 3 hours. My son has played on it daily since then and he loves it. We love it as well because we can jump on it too.
