[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Nest doorbell was very easy to install and setup. I love being able to see who is at the door before I answer or when I'm not home. The picture is very clear and sharp with a wide angle that provides a large viewing area. I was surprised by how large an area it covers. I haven't had any issues and I highly recommend this for an extra layer of security.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Nest doorbell (with battery) and upon first opening the box, I was a little surprised, as the doorbell was a bit bigger than I expected. Inside the box, you get everything you need to get started. Installation of the Nest doorbell was VERY easy, and I had no problems connecting it with the Google Home app. So far the video quality has been good, and the microphone seems to work well. You do get 3 hours of free video history, which I do wish was a little longer. I also love the "Familiar Faces" alert, however, if you would like longer recording history, or to use the "Familiar Faces" alert, you would have to sign up for Nest Aware. A few quick notes: they explain on their website that the battery version will not record continuously 24/7. You will need another Nest camera or Nest wired doorbell, along with a Nest Aware Plus to take advantage of that feature. Also, while this doorbell is weather-resistant, the directions mention that is it NOT waterproof, so if it does get damaged, you may lose the weather-resistance. While I have been happy with using the Nest doorbell powered by the battery, I do think we may eventually hardwire it, so we do not have to keep bringing it in to charge it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nest Doorbell is small but packs a mighty punch with all of its features. Right out the pack the instructions are very clear. It only took 3 hours for the initial charge and I haven't needed to charge it again! The instillation did take about an hour as the app and syncing was a bit confusing. After I got over that hurdle things went very smoothly. The best feature of this doorbell is it gives you a few hours of free recording without needing any subscription plan. The video clarity is perfect and the night mode is just as clear as daytime. The doorbell is able to sense the difference between an animal or a person and that avoids notifications for every little movement. From my doorway the camera does not have that great of a width of view because I have a large porch. This camera would be better suited for an apartment or a house with a narrow entryway. The camera takes videos vertically so I am able to see any person at my door from head to toe. The response time from the doorbell to the app is really quick and since using the doorbell I have not missed a visitor or a package coming to my home.

It offers live view in HDR. It works great even in the dark. It offers phone alerts, too. You can even talk and listen to the person at your door. I found the installation was a little tricky for me, but I am not a handy person, so it maybe easier for people who have those skills. It uses a battery, so there are no wires to mess with. I do recommend this product because of it's simplicity. Thanks.

Too many of my neighbors have had packages stolen from their porches the last few months. I work from home so I am usually around to grab my packages immediately, but that's starting to change with things opening back up. Having a video doorbell like this provides the extra layer of security and piece of mind I was looking for so I'm not afraid to pop out for a meal and/or to run an errand.

When I went to the website, mentioned by the one card instruction sheet, it took me to installing Nest Hello, a completely different Nest Doorbell. I had to search Google to go to Find How To Install Your Battery Powered Nest Doorbell Wire-Free. After finding the correct installation video, installation was quick and easy using the battery option. One plus is that the doorbell holds 3 hours of video that you can see instantly. User friendly Google Home interface/app. The only other downside is that a wall charger adapter for USB charge.

The battery operated Nest Doorbell is a lifesaver for me. I can see what's going on without actually going to the door, can respond without showing my face, and I can handle things even if I'm not at home. This is a real stress reliever for me and I feel more secure in my own home.

I got the opportunity to get the Google Nest Doorbell, and I am completely satisfied. Super easy to install. Comes with everything you need. You can set up, through the app. Which makes it super convenient. Have to let it charge before installing. Overall. Great picture. Sound. And night vision.

I love the features it includes like being able to see who's at my door even when I'm not home, no messy wires hanging, it alerts my phones for packages and guests, I can even talk or listen on the device, and best but not least I can get a live 24:hr view even seeing what's going on in the dark! The install was super easy! Would highly recommend!
