I don't live in a high-crime area, but you never know what can happen. Plus, with packages being delivered more than ever there's always a chance some porch pirate will show up out of the blue! This one's easy to install and I really like that it comes with a wedge-shaped piece that you can use to aim it somewhere other than straight ahead. That was smart thinking! The app is easy to use and the picture quality is very good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My house is now complete with my Nest doorbell (I have the 2 nest cams, Google thermostat, 4-5 Google homes). The video quality on this is amazing! Really like the fact that I do not have to worry about wiring too....I know I will get zapped If I tried. This really functions well with the Google home app. Do not hesitate and by this, it is super easy to install....I am not super handy and was able to get it set up in 15-20 min.

If you go the battery route, you will need either a google smart display of a wireless bell. When hooking up wired to your existing bell, it utilizes your current bell. Video quality is really good. The motion responsiveness is good as well. Has a pretty cool auto reply feature. When someone rings your bell, you get an alert on your phone which allows you to reply back with 1 of 3 message. As this camera also allows for 2 way communication, the message gets heard by the person at the door. You can also have a conversation with the person. This is pretty cool. It very sturdy and built solid. My one complaint is that it's not supported on Echo devices, which is not good for me as all my devices are Echo. So, If you have a google smart home, this doorbell is an excellent choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new Nest doorbell. It has so many awesome features and has really changed the game for me. I feel so much more secure now that I have it. I can see so well, night or day. I can answer my door in REAL time! I also am able to fine tune my activity alerts. My favorite part is that it runs on battery so it is completely wire free. I highly recommend getting this asap!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been in the market for a new doorbell for a while. I'm glad I got this Nest doorbell as the picture quality is amazing. I love that it has a night mode as you can see everything at night. I feel safer now know I can see who is at my door without having to be home.

There are some wonderful things about this doorbell, such as how it feels to press it and how nice the video is. Then, there are some problems, such as why the Nest doorbell isn't on the Nest app, why it doesn't come with a speaker, and why it is so difficult to pair with the Google speaker to ring. If those things could get ironed out, you would have a sure win.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with this doorbell and rely on it heavily to keep track of visitors, monitor packages and provide a layer of security. One of the things I like best is the great picture quality. The camera angle is wide and covers a large area. Another good feature is that you can view the last 3 hour video event history for free. You can view longer history with an active subscription. A con for me is that setup was somewhat complicated and took a little longer than I anticipated. Overall, this is a great doorbell and I recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not know what to think at first about the Nest doorbell but I am incredibly glad I have it now! The install was really much easier than I anticipated. My doorbell had just two wires and after turning off the breaker and installing the two wires to the new nest doorbell it was just that easy. Turns out you dont even need to know which wire goes where. It only uses two wires. Simple. The app is straightforward and notifications are easy to program. Camera is very clear. Excellent doorbell! I can't wait to add other Nest items to my home!
