I love that it is easy to install and remove, that it sits securely in my car, and it seems comfortable and high quality. It is easy to adjust for a perfect fit for different kids, and it is versatile and will last us for several years to come. It could be improved by adding another cupholder or if the belt positioning guide were better designed. It fit better on the passenger side than the driver's side of my car, so the seat you install in may need to be adjusted. I look forward to traveling with this booster! My daughter has been in a booster seat for a couple years now, and my son has just gotten to the point where he is ready to transition into the booster seat as well, so I really appreciate that this booster is flexible in adjusting and transforming to a backless booster, which will also be convenient for travel. We drive a 2015 Toyota Prius, and the booster seat installs so easily! I love the latch system for a simple and secure install. However, it was very difficult for my son to buckle up when this seat was installed on the driver's side, as there wasn't much space between the buckle and the seat. Even I struggled to get the seatbelt buckled. So I switched the seat to the passenger side, and now there is plenty of room for the buckle to be used. As a bonus, since the latch bars hold the seat securely in place, now my daughter won't have to worry about her seat moving over the top of the buckle and making it more difficult for her to buckle up, which has happened with our other booster. The headrest adjusts very easily to ensure the proper belt placement, so if my kids ever want to switch sides, or if I need to put another child in the seat, we can readjust easily. One concern I had was that the shoulder belt positioning guide tends to make the seatbelt pucker, which doesn't seem safe. I thought it was odd that it's backwards from my other seat's shoulder belt positioning guide, and the instructions even seemed to discourage using it, so I'm a little confused as to why it is the way it is. In any case, I just put the belt through beneath the guide like it recommended in the instructions, and it seems to work well that way. The only other minor drawback is that this seat only came with one cupholder. I would have preferred a second, but it's ok. I do like how easy it is to install the cupholder and change which side it's on. It remains pretty secure while installed, and is easily removed to wash. Overall, I think it is a quality booster seat and very convenient to use. It feels nice and secure, and it's simple to install, uninstall, and adjust. I look forward to using this seat for several years to come, and the convenience it will provide while traveling.

It was super easy to install utilizing the clips in the backseat. This is one of my favorite features. The clip in installation provides more stability and reassurance that the seat is not moving. It is very easy for my daughter to lock herself in with the seat belt where we only have to check. She enjoys the high back and the head rest. Seat padding feels super comfortable and we heard no complaints on our longer rides.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful looking car seat. I like the lighter neutral tone, and that it will easily go from high back to backless booster. I have another high end booster with a similar latch attachment mechanism, and I found this one much easier to install. The latch arms extend pretty far and make it easier to get a good locking position. It also enables us to adjust recline on the booster, which my 6yo son is loving. He is able to buckle and unbuckle independently, and this has easily replaced the previous seat as favorite. My one point of improvement would be to change to a more pill resistant fabric. There already is some minor pilling from normal use. While I would say the benefits definitely outweigh the minor aesthetic annoyance, that would be one thing I would love to see changed. From the moment we took this booster seat out of the box, it truly impressed us. It felt very heavy duty and well built, giving us immediate confidence in its quality and safety. We also loved the color because it matched our car interior perfectly. Installation was simple and hassle free. We tested the seat with both of our children, our 5 year old daughter who is about 45 pounds and our 9 year old son who is about 65 pounds, and it worked well for both, making it a great option for growing families! We especially appreciated that the booster seat can transform from a high back booster into a backless booster as your child grows. The back was comfortable for our 5 year old, but our 9 year old preferred it without the back, so having the option to easily remove it was a huge plus. Installation was quick and stress free thanks to the LATCH system, which kept the seat sturdy and secure during drives and gave us extra peace of mind. Adjusting the seat for a proper fit was effortless. Our favorite feature was the adjustable headrest. With the press of a button, it was easy to lower it for our younger child and raise it for our older child, making switching between kids seamless. One downside is that the booster seat does not recline. Because of this, our 9 year old found the high back configuration uncomfortable and preferred using it in backless mode. We've been using the Maxi-Cosi RodiSport booster seat for my 5 year old (around 4'2 and 60lbs) and so far, we love it. Installation was a breeze with the LATCH system, no more random straps and hooks. It was very straightforward, simply adjust it, click it, and it's secured. I really like how easy it is to adjust the headrest and how the belt guides help keep the seatbelt positioned correctly across the shoulder. This booster seat also gives you the option to convert into a backless booster seat, so you're able to use it longer without worrying about your child outgrowing it. The padding feels comfortable and supportive, making it perfect for longer car rides. The cover is machine washable and dryer safe, so it makes it easy to simply snap it off to clean then snap it back on. The cup holder is removable which makes it easy to clean as well, and it can be placed on either side of the seat. Overall, the RodiSport feels well-designed with parents AND kids in mind. It is safe, comfortable, and designed to grow with your child.

As a mom of 3 children (ages 11 through 6), I have done ample research, for more than a decade, on car seats, booster seats, and ways to keep my children safe as we drive. Even though I had not previously purchased a Maxi Cosi product, I have always respected the brand, and the Rodi Sport lives up to my expectations of this great brand. The seat came securely packaged and in perfect condition. The instructions were clear to follow and I was able to easily and safely install the booster seat (with the back) into my car in less than 5 minutes. My son was so excited about a new seat that was just for him (especially as the third child who has received many hand-me-downs)! We both loved that the cup holder could be easily attached to either side of the seat. He has said that the seat is comfortable and is excited to take naps in it on longer journeys. I also love that I can remove the high back part of the booster when he out grows that and we can only use it as a booster for longer! Something of note is that I have already noticed a few small grease stains on the bottom seat. We were given the cream color as part of the promotion , which I think is a beautiful color, but the stain is more noticeable than the black would be. Despite this, I will certainly be recommending the Maxi Cosi Rodi Sport to others in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I initially received the Maxi Cosi RodiSport booster seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, the first thing I noticed was the light, breathable, and soft, cushiony fabric that covers the seat. Taking it out of the box, however, was a little difficult due to how heavy it was. I love the easy click-in and click-out attachment system for cars that have the LATCH system. The click-in and -out system makes is super easy to move the seat from one car to another, but you do have to squeeze VERY firmly to detach the seat from the latch connectors. I love that the covers of the entire seat are removable for easy washability. It's super easy to connect the high back to the bottom booster for younger kids and to remove it for your older kids when they no longer need the high back. It's a little tight in the upper seat belt area which made it a little difficult to navigate the crossbody seatbelt into its spot, but once it's in, it feels snug and easily placed in the correct spot. The seat has an easy system to raise and lower the head rest portion of the high back to adjust for your child's height and it clicks into place easily and solidly. I LOVE that it came with a cupholder that's actually solid plastic! And I absolutely love that you can attach the cupholder to either side of the base which allows you to move the seat from one side of the car to the other! Overall this is a fantastic high and low back booster! Just know that it's a little heavier which might make it a little difficult for air travel, etc.! Some boosters I have seen are really narrow, and this one works great for my son, he said he was comfortable. Second, it is super easy to install. We tried both the full and back backless options and both were very easy to put in the car, and the seat itself is not too heavy. Last, the cupholder is a really big deal in our house, so I really appreciate it being included, it is a very thoughtful detail. The fabric also feels nice and looks like it will be easy to clean. Overall I am very happy with the Maxi Cosi Rodi Sport!

This booster is great for being able to grow with my child from high back booster to traditional booster seat. The latches are simple to use. I appreciate the cup holder that can be placed on either side depending on where it is in the car. My 6 year old found the seat comfortable to sit in. The downsides I found were that the latch that is closest to the outside if the car can be difficult to get to when it's connected, as you need space to the side of the latch. Additionally, there is no tether like I am used to, so the seat was able to slide all over my third row, where there is no latch system, unless I kept the seat buckled in. Overall, I recommend this seat and found it very lightweight and convenient.
