The ink is a rich, deep black color while maintaining a fine line. I have not had any issues with smearing. Overall, these are great gel ink pens.

I don’t have to stop and shake my pen because the ink isn’t flowing. With these pens the ink is always ready to write. The ink fries quickly and doesn’t smudge easily. I have to get ink in all the colors available in this pen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved these Pilot G2 Fine Black pens. They write super smooth and the gel ink dries quickly. I usually find when using ball point pens that I have to press way too hard. So after trying these roller ball gel pens, I don't think I could ever go back! I can now press down more gently and have no chance of ripping the paper or having uneven ink while writing. The gel dries fast and would be good even for someone left-handed. The black ink is bold and even. The rubber grip is comfortable to hold even when writing for long periods.

I like the gel ink, and it is pretty smooth, but I still like Sharpie gel pens better, and they are even cheaper. These pens are a no go for us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really picky with what I get for pens. These G2 Fine pens glide really nicely along the paper. I am also left handed, so typically I smear ink. However with these pens, I have little to no smearing. They are definitely on the top of my list.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The G2 Fine 2 Pack Black pens are the perfect pen. They are smooth writing and the ink is always consistent. This is my all time favorite pen to write or doodle with. The fine point makes even the worst handwriting easy to read. I will most certainly be buying more of these pens.

I wrote and tried to smear it but the ink was already dry. Very impressive. Very happy it is refillable as the pen itself is terrific. Super simple black pen design. But simple always works best! Great for college students, work, and/or writing in general.
