My husband prefers a firm mattress and I prefer something more cushy. I was hoping this bed would suit our needs. There was no smell upon unpacking. Great. We purchased queen sized sheets to fit our full sized bed to insure the fit wouldn't limit the mattress expansion. Good call. I will note, this full sized mattress is about 5 inches less width than our previous/ old full sized mattress--- something to consider--so whereas a dull sized bed worked fine for us in the past, I'd recommend getting the Queen size for a 2 person bed option. So we have less space than before, even though more overall comfort. We will end us using this mattress as a guest bed and getting a larger size for us. My husband sweats less in this bed vs previous mattress. I can actually sleep on my back and this mattress understands my curves. I've exhaled a few times, "finally, a bed that gets me!" I recommend it. It's definitely a good value for your money.

I have back issues, and the typical spring mattress I have been sleeping on just isn't doing it for me. My daughter has a Casper Bed. I slept on it while I was visiting, but it was just a tad too soft. I researched and the Ghostbed is just rated slightly firmer than the Casper. I took a chance. I like it quite well, although it took me a few days to get used to it. My husband LOVES it! There was no Off-gassing smell as some beds seem to have. After owning it for two weeks, I can go lie on it and within a few minutes I am fast asleep, for my quick 30 minute afternoon nap. I am very well rested for the rest of my day. I wake up early, and accustomed feeling more refreshed with a short nap. BTW, and I am a 65 yo female with arthritis in my hips and joints, and this bed works for me.

Like you perhaps, I did the research on all the current mattress in a box offerings, evening going to pop-up events to try some. Based on construction, past reviews and value I opted for the Ghost Bed, Queen-sized. My mattress arrived in just days and was shipped without any damage and packaged beautifully with minimal waste. Opening and unwrapping the mattress was a breeze, and I did let it "set up" for the afternoon before trying it. Let me just say its the most comfortable mattress Ive ever had and I've spend far more on "name brand" store sets with cumbersome delivery and difficult set-up. The Ghost Bed is better than promised. I'm even thinking of adding another one for the guest room. I like it that much.

I finally decided on the Ghostbed after a few months of research because reviews were good and price point was very reasonable. I was a bit reluctant on the firmness level because I was very happy with my soft bed I had slept on for 8 years. My husband and I really wanted to get a king size instead of a queen so a new bed was necessary. I rolled the bed out and got in it excitedly. Immediately I knew I was going to be sending it back! I thought it was definitely too hard. I thought it over for a few minutes and next thing I knew my alarm was going off! I felt pretty good when I woke up but was curious to see how my day went. I'm a dental hygienist and my back takes a beating everyday. I noticed my back didn't start to bother me until late in my workday and I had more energy. I've had a few nights where I really thought the bed was too hard but I feel like my back is much better for it. I definitely did not have immediate love for this bed but after a month, I can admit that I'm in love with this thing.

I wish I could say this bed was a life-changing experience, but it wasn't... I'm still a light sleeper with upper back pain from working a desk job. However, I do sleep a little deeper and the bed is certainly quite a bit more comfortable to lay on than the cheap memory foam mattress I had before that was so worn out to could see the impressions even with the comforter on it. And I have no idea where these people reviewing the bed are coming up with terms like "hard as a rock"; I tend towards a very soft and fluffy mattress and found this appropriately soft yet supportive. Added bonus of not sleeping hot, which has been a major problem with my previous memory foam mattress.

The bed is very comfortable and the pillows have been great so far. Very happy, not only upgraded from a queen to a king when I got the ghost bed, but with the new bed I have been sleeping so well so that is an upgrade also if you ask me. Additionally it’s nice knowing that the products are made in the USA.

My bed at the time was really doing a number on my wife and I back so we needed a new bed. I took a chance and got a GhostBed. There first night my back didn't hurt, but it didn't seem to be that comfortable. All I needed to do was be patient because after 2-3 nights the bed started to become so comfortable. Now they are the best night sleep I have had in a really long time.

I wanted to wait a while before I gave my review and really sleep in the mattress for a while to give the best review I could. The mattress shipped and arrived quickly, setup is every but the breeze it claims to be. The first couple nights were an adjustment period but by no means hellish. Since that time it's been comfortable and all but it's largely unimpressive and not at all the best night's sleep I've ever had. I ordered my Ghostbed on the 16th of April, it's not the Third of July and the "magic" of the Ghostbed is well and gone. This feels no different then the standard tempurpedic mattress I had for the last 12 years, complete with the back pain when I wake. Don't get me wrong, this is a good mattress, I just don't feel it's a great one.

To start, the shipping was insanely fast. It did take a while for my order to be processed, but once it was, it took only a few days for my Ghostbed to be at my door. I was so excited to unbox it, and once I did, I was a little hesitant about how I’d like it and I wasn’t sure what exactly to do since there were no instructions in the box. After consulting the internet, I let the Ghostbed inflate/air out for 24 hours, and then started using it. My initial impressions were good, but I was still doubtful as it was firmer than I was used to. But after 2 months of sleeping on it every night I can confidently say that this is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on, and I am no stranger to memory foam mattresses! The Ghostbed is almost dangerous for me because if I lie down on it during the day, I’m out COLD in 5 minutes. My back pain has virtually disappeared, I sleep hard every night, and even my pets like the bed. Not only is the bed good, but the Ghostbed team has been friendly, communicative, and they’ve cleared up any issues I’ve had with shipping other items and the website. It’s been an awesome experience buying from this company and I will gladly be a returning customer. 10/10 would recommend this bed for anyone with back pain or anyone who wants to sleep like a log.
