Matress is definitely on the firm side and has excellent support. The gel memory foam has minimal give. There is very little sink to the matress when lay on it. I placed mine on slats and it feels fine. Ghostbed recommends a flat surface(plywood) which is what is recommended for most foam mattresses, Overall I am pleased with the purchasing process direct through the company and they had it here in 3 days. I most likely will keep the matress and will likely add an additional cotton cover to matress to explore a smoother finish to the surface versus the factory finish. If you are looking for an excellent supportive matress like me then this would be a superb choice. Do forget you have a 100 nights free to test your ghostbed.

I normally sleep quite well but I've had my bed 3 weeks and it still seems hard to me. It is a twin. I'm a side sleeper and on my side I wake in the morning with my hip joints hurting. That means to me the beds too hard. Customer service said to unzip part of the covering, heated up with an electric blanket, but after the 30 days, they would give me a foam topper. I'll give that two weeks but I think I will be returning it.

Could not be happier with the GhostBed mattress. My wife and I were skeptical about all the hype, but decided to take a shot based on the apparent value offered by GhostBed both in price point and the extent to which they stand behind their product. We bought the king size mattress, foundation, and 2 GhostPillows. This bed actually delivered. We both sleep more soundly, and sleeping on this bed has even helped alleviate some of the problems I have with my neck and back. One thing I can say is that the pillows are absolutely worth it. The bed was incredibly comfortable before the pillows arrived, but once we slept on it with the GhostPillows, it took on a whole new level of comfort. They just compliment each other perfectly. The foundation is very sturdy. You don't see products very often anymore that are overbuilt like this is. Assembly was pretty simple and quick. We love our GhostBed and we can't stop talking about it with out family and friends. We'll never look back.

I have had chronic lower back pain for years and woke daily to numbness in my fingers. But my mattress was getting older so it was time to purchase a new one. I was SO WORRIED I would spend a bunch of money on a mattress that was no better or even worse! So I spent a lot of time reading reviews, comparing other mattresses, doing research, before deciding on GhostBed. I bought both the mattress and foundation. The mattress seems a bit more firm than I hoped but I’m 5’7” 140# and my husband 6’ 200# so neither of us is on the small side. It feels like a giant marshmallow and gently hugs my back. I can sleep through the night and not wake up with back pain! Also my fingers aren’t numb when I get up like before when the mattress pressure wasn’t right (which seems weird to me as that mattress wasn’t as firm as GhostBed). I would recommend GhostBed to anyone who needs good support, who has back issues, or would like relief from poor circulation problems :)

With all the companies out there selling similar foam mattresses, we decided on the Ghost Bed after a lot of research, and we are so glad we did! The mattress is so comfortable and supportive, and the ghost pillows are a must buy to go along with the mattress. As soon as I lay down on it, I feel relaxed and don't feel the need to roll from side to side to be comfortable through the night, as I did on our traditional spring mattress. If you have never tried this type of mattress before, I highly recommend it over a traditional over priced mattress.

The way this thing manages heat is amazing! The vented latex on top of gel-infused foam keeps chilly me and my hot-natured partner perfectly balanced. (Try Sheex sheets for even greater effect...) The combination of conformity and support with just a little bounce is also perfect for my bad back and her stomach sleeping. All in all, couldn't ask for a better mattress.

I so very excited to get this bed. I was even looking forward to giving this bed a postive review. I had. Nickname for the bed defore it even arrived. I was gonna call it the Holy Ghost Bed purely because I am Christian. Before purchasing this bed I researched for months trying to estimate which bed would be right for me and my wife. I take sleep pretty serious. I don't always get as much as I need so I want the sleep that I get to be very effective. I am 6'-1" and about 210 pounds and from day one it was just painful to my body. I typically end up in my side so that I don't snore but this mattress was terrible for side sleeping. It was just too firm. It didn't receive my shoulder well at all therefor creating a pressure point. After a few weeks I couldn't take it anymore and I was so tired from not getting rest that I bought a the purple mattress. I haven't looked back and now I am just waiting to send this ghost bed back. For the past 2-3 years now I had noticed my sleeping at night hasn't been all that great. From a person who could fall asleep under the kitchen table on a hardwood floor this wasn't good. I would wake up at multiple times of the night and woke up with lower back pain. I am just shy of 30 in pretty good shape and this shouldn't be happening. My wife and I decided that we NEEDED a new bed this year for sure. I posted something up for recommendations on my Facebook and got tons of responses. So many that I had no idea what to choose. I decided to go to a furniture store hear in the Chicago land area where I live and test out a few mattresses. I found one that i liked but then thought to myself all i did was lay down on each for 30 seconds. I needed something I could try for a while to really test it out. A buddy of mine recommended GhostBed. What in the He** is a GhostBed? He told me all about them, I did my research as well as my wife and after a month we decided to take a shot in the dark and try the bed. We got the bed very fast, set up was pretty easy even though my power drill was not charged and screwed everything by hand (my dumb mistake)Got the bed all together with the Ghost Pillows we got. Its been about a month or so now and really have to say how happy we are with this bed. I would recommend it to anyone who is in the market for a new bed. It is a little bit of an investment. We moved our daughter to college and set up her bed. Worked out beautifully, she is very comfortable. However I ordered a twin foundation, only to discover we couldn't use it. Now I don't know how to return it. The shipping papers are gone. I would appreciate it if someone could let me know what I need to do. We never took it out of the box. Please reply.

This bed is AMAZING! I have had memory foam mattresses in the past from Denver Mattress, and I was considering changing to a BeautyRest but heard about these guys from a Podcast (Drinkin Bros). Hearing that they are a huge proponent to the Veteran community I decided to look into their products. I am so glad I did this - incredible bang for the buck; the mattress is the right amount of firm and soft, with excellent lumbar support. I have had multiple injuries lately (hernia and slight herniated disc in my back) and this bed has kept me unbelievably comfortable for a good night's rest every night. The pillows are the icing to the cake. They never seem "hot" i.e. I have not found myself flipping the pillow to get to the "cool" side as I have with pillows in the past. The design and breathability of the pillow allows them to stay at a comfortable temperature throughout the night. I sleep on my back, and the pillows offer excellent head and neck support as well. All in all, I have recommended this product to others, and am happy with my purchase. Much appreciated GhostBed!
