We pursued the split king over 2 years ago. Once we decide it was no longer for us we gave each of our kids a twin mattress. When looking for another mattress we tried two different brands . Them came right back to ghost bed . We are comfortable and very happy . Some competitors just did not match up. We are forever ghost bed customers

My wife and I went to several mattress stores and tested many beds. We saw the ads on the internet for yours and other boxed and delivered mattresses. I ordered one to see what it was like with the idea of putting it in the guest room if we didnt like it. I couldn't believe how comfortable it was. Neither of us wake up from aches and pains. In fact the first day we didn't have to get up for work we slept 10 hours. We usually woke up after 6 to 7 hours on the old mattress from an aching body. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this mattress again. I consider it the best mattress I have ever bought and probably at a fifth of the price.

The bed is so comfortable and I haven't noticed any bad back pain as of recently. My dog even loves it. From the very first night we got it, he spread out and fell into a deep sleep. I would totally recommend this bed to anyone experiencing back or neck pain. Don't go with an innerspring, ghostbed is where it's at!

It took several days for our queen mattress to off-gas (we slept on an air mattress in another room) but it’s been comfortable since then. It has some give and initially feels like it would be too firm, but we both wake up rested and without the aches that our old memory foam mattress gave my husband and that a new different mail-order memory foam mattress gave me. I’m 5’4” 120 lbs back sleeper and my husband’s 6’4” 185 lbs side sleeper. We’ve been using the GhostBed Classic for about a month. It has nice edge support.

I spent several weeks researching beds and had ultimately decided on a traditional pillow top. I was preparing to spend a weekend going around to different local stores to see what was available. A friend mentioned Ghostbed which I had previously not heard of. I had heard of the whole "bed in a box" concept but hadn't really looked into it. Ghostbed seemed to get the best reviews in most youtube comparisons and with the sleep trial period I figured I had nothing to lose. I've now had it for about three weeks. I put it on a metal platform bed. I also purchased the protector. The bed deployed itself fairly quickly. It seemed to reach its advertised height within a half an hour. One thing I noticed right away was that my existing pillows didn't feel right for the mattress. Probably just because they didn't sink into the new bed like they did on the old one. I picked up two new ones and later decided to order a Ghostpillow. You really need two weeks to get used to the bed. I'll say that I immediately noticed that I generally felt better in the morning than I had previously. Yes, the bed does feel initially firm but you do sink in all the right pressure points. I had recently started sleeping with a pillow between my knees because of some hip pain but that's gone away. I don't need the pillow anymore. My girlfriend likes the bed and since it doesn't transfer a lot of motion, I sleep better. Same thing goes for my beagle when he moves around the bed. It's a lot less obvious and for a light sleeper like me, that's great. Give it a try. You've got nothing to lose.

I was so excited to get this mattress that I went home on my lunch break, 30 minutes each way, just to make sure that my bed was unpacked and ready for me that night. When I initially laid down I noticed it was firm, but thought "hey...its supportive ". By the morning my back was a knot and I had spent the entire night tossing and turning. Not to be deterred I sent my children in, clad in clean socks to; jump, roll, bounce, and belly flop on the bed . Which unfortunately did little to soften the memory foam. Lets fast forward to the end of week one. Me not having had a good nights sleep in nearly 8 days, I had become unrecognizable to friends and family. I was up to intravenous intake of coffee and those around me begged me to do something about this. Which leads me to the biggest issue that I had with this whole thing, the return policy. 30 days... 30 days is the minimum before you can return this bed. Thats absurd. This is, with no hyperbole, one of the most uncomfortable mattresses that I have ever slept on. And the thought of not having a good nights sleep for 22 more days made cringe. After several calls and chats I had still had nothing positive to report...No exchange, no return, no solution other than "people who report the mattress as being too firm love it by day 90" ; maybe.... So I decided, "Im stuck" Ill keep this thing for 30 days, I can manage that. I couldn't. I travel a lot for work, 2 to 3 days a week, and coming home to that mattress made me anxious. As any road worrier knows there is a certain longing for ones own bed. A feeling of being home and comfortable, like a big hug. For me it was the opposite . I dreaded that mattress. Knowing that I would be tossing and turning and would wake up with my back and neck crumpled like every receipt I have ever gotten. It was finally time that I put up a stand. I call again, and still nothing, but worse it appears that no one has been tracking my calls and complaints. I hung up the phone and opened my computer. I order a different mattress and leaned the ghost bed up against the wall. Where it will remain, watching me sleep, until I can return it.

It is on the firm side. That doesn't bother me as much as it bothers my husband. What bothers me is the heat. Even with the gel layer the mattress still retains a lot of heat. If you don't mind a firmer mattress and a warm bed, it is a good mattress.

I will admit I was a little hesitant to buy a bed I've never laid on before, but since we were in the process of a move and I wanted a new mattress I decided to ship it to the new place and hope for the best. The box was very easy to put together...make sure you have an electronic screwdriver to save time. The mattress is AMAZING!!! I am so pleased with it I have told several people about how quick the shipping was and how great I sleep at night. No more back pain when I wake up was worth every penny.

Shipping was quick, even during the COVID era. The mattress was to my door in under a week. The mattress is comfortable and I sleep well on it. It has a bit more of a memory foam feel that I was hoping for, but at the same time, movement during sleep doesn't translate across the mattress and disturb anyone else. So far, Im happy with the purchase.

Mid-June I bought a queen mattress. I had been researching for about 6 months or so and finally decided on Ghostbed. It has been a great purchase so far. I haven’t slept this good in several years. I really like the pillows that came with the purchase, they are very comfortable also. The bed was so easy to set up also, we took the plastic wrap off and unrolled it and within 5 minutes or less it was ready to sleep on. I recommend the Ghostbed mattress. It is so comfortable.
