I really thought one of these beds was the answer. I couldn't really afford to outright spend 3 grand on a mattress because I have 4 children and its Christmas time. However, my bed was a double tall air mattress in my bedroom floor; I had no quality sleep, and still needed to get up refunded and not stuff and sore, so I can work. The first week with my ghost bed I thought, OK, I just need to break it in; boy was I wrong. Its been 6 weeks and my whole body aches. Im a stomach/size sleeper. If I sleep on my stomach I wake up with stuff elbows and chest pain; if I sleep on my side I wake up with shoulder and hip pain. I've tried sleeping on my back even, I wake up with back and neck pain. The pillows are amazing, but the bed has to go back. I'd hoped this would be the answer to my problems but it was just more problems.

We've had the ghost bed now for several weeks. It is very firm. I thought I preferred soft beds until I slept on firm hotel beds while travelling and realized I was waking up without crippling back pain. So, after reading reviews on numerous brands of beds, I settled on ghost bed. It came with pillows due to a special sale. I also bought a mattress protector. They came in three shipments over four days. The bed was a hoot to set up. Layed it out on top the box springs, unwrapped it, and instantly it started to expand. You could hear it suckling in air. By 24 hours, it was fully expanded. No odor. Very firm. If you are thinking memory foam, it's not. You don't sink in much at all. Not hot to sleep on. My back pain is much improved. Takes two to handle as it is much heavier than a traditional mattress. And flexible! The pillows are traditional memory foam and a true queen size so standard pillow cases are too short. I'm considering adding a pretty border to my cases to make them longer. They do have a chemical smell that takes a while to disappear. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I would buy it again.

I love this bed. I had it shipped to my new apt and I had an amazing mattress on the first night. You can sleep on it immediately after set up. I've slept on a firm tempurpedic and this is a good deal softer but still forms to your shape. Has a good dense feeling to it but is also cool.

I changed from a spring mattress to a ghost bed, and I'm not looking back. One interesting, and unexpected, benefit: earlier, I had to get a night guard since I was clenching/grinding my teeth at night--i assumed it was stress. Turns out changing out my mattress made a big difference. The ghost bed is so comfortable! I love it!

I researched like a mad man and found nothing but great reviews. So my husband and I bought the matress, the protector and the foundation and got 3 ghost pillows. The first night I slept horrible. The second night I slept horrible and now, 2 weeks later, I'm still sleeping horrible. I feel like I'm sleeping on the floor. Very disappointed!!

I didn't quite know what to expect. I was Leary of buying a bed this way. I was tired of waking up with neck pain and not being able to sleep. At first, I was not sure about it as it was much firmer than I had initially anticipated. I was definitely convinced after the first night of sleep. I use Amazon Alexa to play sleep music every night, I set the sleep timer for 2 hours and usually at least listen for an hour or so before falling asleep. With this bed, I am lucky to hear 4 songs. I woke up feeling well rested and did not toss and turn like I normally did. Now, a month later I would never get another bed. I just sleep so well. My only complaint which I'm sure you hear a lot, is I never want to get up and out of the bed! The Pillows are amazing as well. Overall, just highly recommend this.

The Ghost Bed is very comfortable. We bought it based on positive ratings on Consumer Report. An important feature for us is that you don’t feel movement from your partner. The bed initially feels firm but it breaks in right away. It’s supportive and comfortable. Well worth the money!

We have had our Ghost bed for a few weeks so far and we really like it. I was pretty hesitant to buy it thinking it would be too firm. That has definitely not been the case. We had a pillow top spring mattress and while the ghost bed is a little firmer, it's still quite comfortable. Our pillow top mattress had gotten shaped into two hollows were we slept and a little hill in the middle. My back was starting to feel sore each morning. I have not felt that soreness at all since we got our ghost bed. Set up was pretty easy. The king is heavy but I managed to set it up all myself. This is not recommended though! I just flipped the box end over end into our bedroom. I put the mattress in place and then opened the bag. It was fun to watch it expand. :-) I opened it around noon and we slept on the bed that night. We did not notice any harsh smells and the sleep we got was very good. From the experience so far, I would recommend a Ghost bed.

The Ghostbed Queen is a little firmer than we expected, but we have been sleeping well. The boxed mattress is pretty heavy to move around, but was manageable by two people. Once lifted onto the bed, the decompression was easy. We are satisfied with this unusual product.

We purchased this bed after many restless nights on our old mattress. The first night I felt that it was quite firm especially for me being a side sleeper. I woke up in the middle of the night with a sore shoulder. The 2nd night same thing so I slept on the couch. The 3rd night however I remembered reading a post from someone about walking on the mattress to loosen it up. I walked around on my side for a few minutes and it made a world of difference. I actually slept through the night which I haven't done in a long time! My husband who is a back/side sleeper never had any trouble with it. He always loved the firmness. We've had the bed now for 3 weeks and it has been a lifesaver!! I definitely recommend it.
