We ran to this mattress because a competitor's gave my wife neck pain. This mattress relieved that pain, but both of us wake up sore in the morning. We'll likely be trying other mattresses to find a better fit. It does keep you cool at night though. If you like a firm mattress and are worried about being too hot, this mattress might be a good fit.

This was my first time I've ever purchased a mattress online. I must admit it was a fairly seamless process. First couple of nights I had my new mattress, I would wake up in the middle of the night or wake up much earlier than I usually do. I believe it was my body trying to get used to the new mattress and the firmness. However, it's now been two weeks since I've had my Ghost Bed mattress and I'm sleeping with no issues and waking up in zero back pain. I would definitely recommend a Ghost Bed mattress to anyone that is considering one.

So, we had our old pillow top that was a high end mattress, but it was not supportive at all anymore as it was 13 years old. We were desperate for a new mattress and researched that combo sleepers especially couples should at least get medium- medium-firm. We looked at all these 3rd party reviews of foam mattresses and unbiased comparisons of brands. A friend told us about Ghost Bed and ultimately we landed on that as it’s a bit firmer than most foam type beds and reviews said that the construction was more quality than many others. We got it and initially, I thought it felt like a brick. It’s very firm. I also knew that I had come from no support so it may feel firmer than it actually was and that my body needs to adjust a while. It’s a week or so in and I’m sleeping better and it’s not feeling as hard but it’s still very firm and I hope it softens a little. It does not sleep hot at all. I love the pillows. I’m sleeping better each night so I have high hopes... My husband hasn’t adjusted to the firm bed yet, but he has been seeing a chiropractor and had back issues prior. I’m hoping he adjusts.

It is on the firm side. That doesn't bother me as much as it bothers my husband. What bothers me is the heat. Even with the gel layer the mattress still retains a lot of heat. If you don't mind a firmer mattress and a warm bed, it is a good mattress.

I purchased my Ghostbed in the beginning of October. I did countless hours of research on various different mattresses from various companies. I finally settled on the Ghostbed. The shipping of the mattress was very prompt. The ease of unboxing the mattress was a huge plus. As far as comfort goes, this is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on!

With the reviews I was expecting a great wonderful mattress but this is just average - at least for me. I don't think I weigh enough to really break down into the gel and foam. I'm 5'7 and weigh around 125. My boyfriend is really fond of it at 6'2 around 150. I'm hoping after a month of sleeping on it or will get a bit softer. But too firm for me right now

We bought 4 of the regular GhostBeds in twin size for our camp. I didn't have much expectation of them, but felt that the good reviews told me they would be good enough. Well, I've been sleeping on mine for a couple weeks now and just love it. It's hard to describe, but I go to bed and it seems comfortable, then I wake up and it seems more comfortable. It's a winner!

We replaced our old broke down Tempurpedic with the Ghostbed. Well, 2 weeks in and it's just too firm for us. The cooling is great, not too much not too little. My wife wakes with shoulder pain and both of us wake frequently to change position. We both find ourselves waking up frequently on our backs but we are not back sleepers. This bed I imagine is great for back sleepers who do not like the feel of tempur material. The top cooling layer covers the memory foam and prevents the "sink-in" feel. If I could send t back now, I would, but we will give it the full 30 days.

Sorry that this review is late in coming. The Ghost mattress is in my guest room. I slept on it for two nights, then waited until my guest came and slept on it for two weeks before writing this review. I bought the regular mattress, not the deluxe one. For myself as well as for my friend, the Ghost bed was perfect. Not hard at all, but not soft either. It is very supportive in a most comfortable way. I did Get a bamboo topper because of the few reviews that said the Ghost mattress is way too hard. I believe the mattress would be perfectly comfortable and supportive on its own. However, the topper does add a bit of a more opulent feel. Next year I'll have to buy a second Ghost bed for myself. I have lower back issues which the Ghost bed mattress helped for the two nights I tried it out. BTW, if you need more sheets, or even if you don't, get Ghost Bee's sheets. You won't be sorry. Forgot to say that the mattress is on a slatted wooden platform. Perfect!
