My husband and I suffer from loving our beds a little too long and in doing so end up shopping for a new bed once our old one starts to make our backs hurt. In todays market because there are so many beds out there it really is hard to say which is going to be the best for you. Plus everyone has different preferences so it adds even more pressure to find the perfect bed. With that being said I watched a lot of reviews of tons of different beds on youtube and read different reviews online. Each time I found myself hitting a wall... you have to try it to see if its for you. I don't know about you but I personally don't like laying on a bed in store. I just don't want to lay on something that isn't fresh, its not going to be what I have when I get home, PLUS most places take FOREVER to deliver. This is where Ghostbed came in. I was turned onto the idea of buying a memory foam type bed online that can be delivered within days. PLUS there is a huge return guarantee if you aren't a fan. My first thought was Where do I sign up? Well of course my husband wanted to make sure I read about the others before I dove right in. I did, read specs and reviews on the Purple, the Lessa, and even the Casper. For me it came down to what the weight restrictions are and what happens to the edge of the bed when you push in on it. The Ghostbed is amazing! We've had it for about a month and each time I get into it I can't believe I waited so long before I purchased it. Its so pleasant to sleep in. After about 3-4 days my back stopped hurting all together. We ended up getting a few pillows too!! Go... now... make your purchase!!! Don't wait another night!!

easy ordering, fast delivery, slight off gasing smell when opened but not very strong and didn't last long. seemed like it would be comfortable but as it expanded all the way it really firmed up and now hurts my hips when sleeping on it and cant get comfortable. if you like super firm, then this is your bed. They say it will soften up with use and They are sending me a topper to see if it will help.

We love our ghost bed! Got a king size to put on the floor for our family bed and it's perfect. Plenty of room for my husband, myself and our 7 month old son (taboo I know!) This bed is so comfortable, and no one sinks into one another. Also, very little motion transfer so we don't disturb one another or baby when getting in or out of bed. Highly recommended!

This bed is great! My back pain is not completely gone but I don't believe that's anything any mattress will fix. It is however, much less painful in the mornings. Like I can actually get up and turn with no excruciating pain. The cooling technology is awesome. No more night sweating! My arms, hips, & legs stay comfortable in any position I end up sleeping in. Love it!

My husband and I really wanted to like this mattress as it seemed to have high ratings by so many other people. Unfortunately, there are a number of issues that make it uncomfortable and just plain unsuitable for us. First, it's hot. We live in Texas, and it's summer of course. But we sleep with cotton sheets, a ceiling fan and air conditioning set at 72 degrees and are still hot. Uncomfortably hot. Second, the edges of the mattress are soft. Neither of us likes the "sinking" feeling when trying to sit on the edge of the bed. As the mattress responds to your body heat, you sink in, further adding to the heat factor. Third, for us, the dense foam doesn't have the spring we're used to having. For some people, that might be a plus; not so for us. Fourth, it's not comfortable for us. We've had it almost two months now and haven't had a good night of sleep yet. Finally, the 101-night sleep guarantee is misleading. If you register your bed and try to return it within the 101 nights, it's not easy to return at all. Your customer care representative will try everything they can not to have to take this thing off your hands. I'm not interested in spending more to keep something I don't like already. It's bad enough that the box spring is NOT covered with the sleep guarantee, so we're just stuck eating the cost of the foundation; but we DID expect them to honor their commitment to refund our money if we didn't like it. If you know already that you're a fan of memory foam or even foam mattresses in general, maybe you'll like this mattress. But if you're unsure and think you'll just give it a try because of the guarantee or because of the other reviews, I urge you to proceed with caution. It's not a cheap gamble for your wallet or your back.

I really thought one of these beds was the answer. I couldn't really afford to outright spend 3 grand on a mattress because I have 4 children and its Christmas time. However, my bed was a double tall air mattress in my bedroom floor; I had no quality sleep, and still needed to get up refunded and not stuff and sore, so I can work. The first week with my ghost bed I thought, OK, I just need to break it in; boy was I wrong. Its been 6 weeks and my whole body aches. Im a stomach/size sleeper. If I sleep on my stomach I wake up with stuff elbows and chest pain; if I sleep on my side I wake up with shoulder and hip pain. I've tried sleeping on my back even, I wake up with back and neck pain. The pillows are amazing, but the bed has to go back. I'd hoped this would be the answer to my problems but it was just more problems.

We've slept on an inner spring mattress for over a decade. Just spent our first week on our new ghost bed and it was amazing. It is firm and supportive but soft at the same time. It provides full support but without the pressure points of a standard firm mattress.

My son selected The GhostBed Mattress when I asked him to pick out whatever brand he wanted for his 60th birthday. He needed the California King size and he is beyond pleased with his choice of the GhostBed. Finally he's getting the support his body needs and is enjoying perfect comfort that ensures a good nights sleep. He loves the pillows too!

We had good luck with the purchase and eventually the return/donation. Unfortunately this bed is WAY too firm. I like it more firm then soft, but this takes is to another level. Unfortunate that is did not work out. The return/donation process was not what I expected but it worked out OK.
