I bout one of these for my best friend and his wife as a wedding present a year ago. They have never had anything but amazing things to say about it. Rather recently I spent months suffering from incredibly intense pain. I wasn't able to sleep for more than 30 min at a time if at all. I was sleeping on a very expensive high end mattress which wasn't helping at all. After using ghost bed for a week I began to sleep again. I have had it for months now. I sleep soundly through the whole night. I wake up rested and pain free. This bed was a miracle cure for me. I would recommend ghost bed to anyone. It is a must! Let me just ask you this..... Do you like sleep? Would you like to experience the best rest you have ever had? Stop waiting, stop suffering, stop trying to compare different bed technologies, stop being so cheap and petty. My husband and I agreed we needed a new bed. With 2 big dips in our bed and waking up with back pain every morning, we started our search. I was hesitant to buy a big piece of foam that came in a box and cost hundreds of dollars.. And to be honest, the first couple nights were rough.. It was so different than what we had. We actually slept on top of the bed instead of "in it".. We had to buy new pillows and wanted to give it 30 days to adjust. Well, it's been 28 days and things are pretty good. Still a little back pain, but it seems to slowly be going away. The bed has actually trained us to sleep different, if that makes sense. I actually wake up refreshed and not wanting to get out of bed. The bed stays cool and has seemed to soften up a bit. I have faith that it's going to be a good bed for years to come and not have that sink in feeling our last mattress had. We shall see!

I was hesitant to buy a mattress online, and even more unsure about getting one that came in a box. But after doing a LOT of research I decided that GhostBed looked really good and reasonably priced (plus, it had a fun name). It also had excellent reviews from regular people and Consumer Reports. They even threw in free sheets! After sleeping on the mattress for a few weeks I can say it was a great decision. My back pain is almost completely gone. I'm getting excellent rest. Never having had a memory foam mattress before, I was worried it might be too soft, but it is not. The mattress has just enough give and then plenty of support. Even the free sheets are great quality. I'm so happy with it that I am going to get the pillows to go with it. I absolutely recommend this mattress.

I've had my mattress a few weeks now and I love it, it's so comfortable. It feels kind of hard when I first lay on it but then it adjusts to my body just exactly the right amount to still be supportive. There is no pressure on my body anywhere, no matter what position I'm sleeping in. I do think it sleeps a little bit hot. The pillow is very comfortable also but the pillow definitely sleeps hot, I have to turn the pillow to find a cool spot. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.

Website is super easy to use and the chat support is excellent. The bed arrived quickly and it was easy for me to unpack and place by myself. It is very comfy. I've started sleeping much better than I did on my old mattress. The only small quibble is that I wish it was just a bit firmer- but that is entirely a matter of personal preference. It is still firmer than most mattresses but I really prefer a very very firm mattress. Would recommend.

I was skeptical ordering a mattress online and having to let it out of the box. I mean, what if it didn't expand?? I spoke with their excellent customer service people and asked a few important questions, such as: Can I keep my current bed frame and if I don't like it, how do I get it out of my house? Their staff answered all my questions with expert clarity! I was very satisfied, so I decided to take the leap of faith and give the mattress a chance. I have not been disappointed! I love going to bed every night and waking up feeling refreshed (although some days I wish I could just stay in bed). I did buy a ghost bed foundation also. I did not like having to do all the assembling myself and making sure everything was lined up was kind of a pain. the wood creeks a little also when adjusting/moving on the bed. Maybe the company can come up with a better foundation in the future.

I've been sleeping on my ghost bed around 30 days now. I do suffer from back pain prior to owning this mattress. Since I've been sleeping on it I've had no relief of my back pain. I feel that the mattress is to firm for me. Also the mattress feels to get really hot while laying down. I will be contacting customer service to see about returning the mattress.

When your wife calls you crazy for ordering a bed online. You better believe in what you just done. We are boy all smiles. This bed is firm and the latex topper gives the bed just enough give to make it very easy to sleep on. If you want a bed the is soft then keep looking. We love it and my wife has already told her sister that she needs to get this bed.

From Consumer Report's rating of a "7" in firmness, and other reviews actually complaining about how firm it was, I expected this mattress bed to be, well, really firm! It's not at all. You sink into it immediately but the support does feel okay, mostly if you lie on your back, though. The real problem for me is moving around; it's a tremendous effort! So I wake up a lot trying to shift position. I have a shoulder injury and have to be careful not to stress it just trying to turn onto my side. And the foam does feel very warm at times, which won't be fun in the summer. It bothered me right away and my husband finally had a night when he said he'd felt warm, too. All in all, I don't love the mattress. It's better than the old one but after three weeks, I still have the same aches and pains and stiffness in the morning and I actually experience hip pain when I try to sleep on my side, which is my preferred positon. This was supposed to be one of the better foam mattresses for side sleeping. So maybe it works for young people; it's not doing anything wonderful for us in our 50's. Seems like nice quality and all but, I'm disappointed in how much we sink into it, which is why it's then so hard to turn over, even onto my side. I'm of average build and weight and I still have to really heave out of the pits. You also can't get too close to the edge or you feel like you'll slide off, something that a YouTube review said didn't happen. Well, it does.

I like that it is a firm mattress (good for someone with two back surgeries and told by Dr I needed firm) but I’m much lighter then my husband so I would like to order a memory foam mattress topper to help with my pressure points. I’m mainly a back sleep but lay on my side a little as well.
