To me it smells like pine sole and licorice but the scent doesn't linger and isn't overpowering. The only downside is that it can leave behind a slippery residue that feels similar to a dry oil or silicone lubricant.

Overall, it killed the ant immediately. It does have a somewhat strong strong smell and leaves the surface very slippery for a while. Be careful where you decide to spray it. I will probably use this product more in the summer months.

This product by Stem is to protect against ants, roaches, and flies. Ants and flies flies can be a big pain in our home during the spring and summer months. I found this product easy to use with the spray nozzle. It's sturdy and puts off an even spray. I decided to spray "heavy traffic areas" for where the ants are. I'm looking forward to seeing how long this lasts as a prevention method. I'm also spraying our deck French doors on the outside and inside to see if it prevents flies from wanting to come in. We shall see!

Initially interested as product is safe around pets and people. Couldnt read directions on bottle before purchasing because label had to be lifted first and print tiny. At home followed directions (ridiculous to me that product must be sprayed on insect, Id rather repel them) Sprayed on ant on my tiled kitchen floor-wiped ant & product. Few moments later walked over same spot and slid then fell injuring my knee and toes. So BEWARE this stuff is slippery! Im not this anymore!

I liked that there was not a strong smell, and that it is safe for our dogs. There was no instantaneous death of the ants; however, the ants were upset and leaving the area. The next day, all that remained was some blacked plants where I had sprayed and NO ants! It worked surprisingly well, and I would use it again. I used half the bottle on one area, so I wish it came in different sizes. so be careful not to spray it on your favorite plants.
