My husband has been using depends for years after an operation that left him with incontinancy. Lately, the lining seems to allow the absorbent material to be released and when the underwear is removed this material falls on the floor. Which I must say is hard to pick up. The second day, it poured down rain. It got a little soggy, but still held up. I would definitely recommend these. They did not make me sweat either. I've heard in the past they make people sweat.
