Newly purchase and overall an average pc

For the first week the only major thing I notice when doing video editing and the CPU gets maxed out the fan gets extremely loud. The rear fan is just loud. I wish ASUS put a quieter fan. I kind of concern of the ventilation because there are no venting on the top, front, right side and only third of the left side & back. I have bought multiple ASUS products but, I have to saying I was a little disappointed with this setup for this pc. The pc has no expansion bays and only 1 extra PCI slot.

Dear Tech_guy,We're sorry to hear that you are having issues with loud fan noise. It's unfortunate that this model does not meet your expectations, this is absolutely not the experience we want you to have. We do value our customers and take negative customer service experience very seriously. The fan speed will be changed with the CPU/GPU temperature when running huge and intensive programs, such as heavy-loading games, video editing, transcoding, and big data operations. The thermal fan will speed up and let more cold air pass through the thermal module to achieve the purpose of cooling. At this time, you may hear the thermal fan spins loudly, especially in a quiet environment. If you should have any other concerns or feedback feel free to reach out to us at customerloyalty@asus.com. We'll be happy to provide a quick resolution to your case. Please refer to this case number (N2112036697-0003) for us to better assist you.Thank you for choosing ASUS!Best Regards,Ramon,ASUS Customer Loyalty US Support

Lasted 19 Months

I have had this in use since October 2022 so 19 months. The mother board is out. Sure wish I had purchased the extended warranty. If you don't do that I would not purchase this machine.
