I purchased these crayons for my niece. The variety of colors within the 24 count was amazing. My 5 year niece was able to identify them easily. The colors are so vibrant. I bought myself this new box of crayons to celebrate the first back to school season since my grandson was born. These crayons are terrible. They smell wrong and they color poorly. I have never experienced wax flakes shedding off of a crayola crayon before, but these shed like crazy! I don't know why crayola messed with the formula but I don't imagine they will be the brand preferred by anyone by the end of the year.
