Duraflame Quick Start Wood Fire Starters are the best...ignite easily and start kindling quickly

They were soft, hard to light and fell apart. I will not buy them again!

Always use these to start our wood burning fireplace.

Been using for years in my fireplace daily as intended as a fire starter during the burn season and Sam’s has the best price I’ve found. Used to use rolled up newspaper and some kindling.This is way easier. Often I only use 1/3 of one piece since I burn well seasoned hardwood. If it is more green or wet, will use more…Just experiment. A long lighter will get them going easily especially if you light the jagged piece after breaking them apart and to length. I now use a propane torch and blast it for 3-5 seconds.

Work well, you just need a butane torch to get them going as they aren’t the easiest to light initially.

These are very difficult to start up. I had to squirt antibacterial get for them to light up and get the firewood going.
