[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At my job I have a pen in my hand all day long, so I was excited to see how the Pilot G2 Gel pens work. When trying them out, I couldn’t believe how smoothly they write, almost like gliding on paper. The black ink is rich in pigment the ink drys immediately= no smudges. I could also see doing some pen and ink drawings with these as the quality and color would be great for the that!

I received the Pilot G2 (1.0 mm) Bold 2 pack in blue ink for my independent and honest review. I am always seeking a good pen, and when I find it, I guard it with my life to not let it leave my sight. I found that in these pens! I love the smooth writing abilities of these pens. However, the ink takes a bit to dry completely, so you have a high probability of smudging if your hand swipes across what you've written before it dries. However, if you are patient and want a bright and impressionable written document, I do suggest these pens. It feels good in your hand. It glides smoothly, and the blue ink writes bright and bold when it's dry. Because of waiting for ink to dry, I gave a slight knock in rating.

They feel high quality in the hand and the ink appears beautifully on paper. I highly recommend these pens. I will recommend you be mindful of dry time as the ink can smear if it is not given adequate dry time.

These pens are the perfect writing pens for every day note taking. They are bold and don’t smudge easily. They also offer a comfortable grip too! There's absolutely no bleeding when I use these pens ans they do not smudge, whether I'm using them in a journal or a basic legal pad. They are so comfortable to grip as well. 10/10 will buy them in every color possible!
