It writes so smooth and bold and never skips while writing. It smears if you write on something other than regular paper (like a calendar) but all you have to do is wait about a minute and it's fine. Great pen.

This pen is excellent quality, I was very impressed on how affordable this pen was! I have had pens that cost three times this amount that weren't even close to as good as this pen is. I also really like how this pen is available in a variety of ink colors. I am left handed so finding a good pen is really difficult. If you don't know, left handed people drag the side of their left hand over everything that they write on paper. A lot of pens end up making a huge mess and smearing ink all over the paper. I am impressed on how very little smear that this pen has. I highly recommend Pilot G2 bold black ink pen to all of my family and friends!

My wife likes piolt pens, but she only uses the .5 point. These are too wide, and she wont use them She can still get the from wal mart so that's where she buys them.
