Best tire for the money.

Great tires for a Honda CRV. This is my fourth set of Pirelli tires. I drive in all kinds of weather here in CO at 9,500 feet elevation. Snow, hail, rain, ice, wind and of course sunshine. I have never had an issue of driving in the mountains or along the interstates.

Tires seem to be good but I will never have tires installed at Sam's again! Install was 5pm, I was told 1 1/2 hours to install so I came back at 6:40 and was ignored until 7 when he finally came out from the locked door and gave me my keys with attitude. Told me that's what I get for making a late appointment!!!

We've always had Michelin tires on our vehicles, but the Michelin Defender 2 tires we put on our Honda CR-V were pretty awful. They didn't wear well at all over the past few years. We decided to try these Pirelli Scorpions and HOLY MOLY... it's like driving a completely different vehicle. We couldn't stop talking about how smooth and quiet they were the entire drive home from Sam's. It felt like we were gliding along the road instead of rolling over it... and the car was so quiet that we joked about it being an electric CR-V now. The tires also have a nice beefy stance vs. the tall/thin look of the defenders. Also, they were only $166 per tire with an additional $100 off a full set. GREAT DEAL. Don't hesitate to buy these!!!

The tires are fine but to get them installed took about three hours. I had a 12:00 noon appointment and told it would take about 45 minutes. I checked back at about 1:30pm and was told they had not started on the tires. Back at 2:30PM and told they were working on getting the tires installed. A supervisor came over to say they were behind and had other problems, yet no one said anything to me.. she said she would give me a $15.00 gift card off my purchases for the inconvenience. It wasn't until about 3:00 that the tires were on. This was unacceptable.

I've driven a little over 2000 miles in Texan weather and they've outperformed the OEM Hankook Dynapro HT RH12 (380 AA) in all metrics except maybe fuel efficiency but the difference is marginal the way I drive. When driving above 75ish MPH on grooved payment there is minor growling going on but otherwise the ride is smooth and quiet. The longevity of the tires seem promising as I haven't measured a discernible difference in treadwear so the 800 AA UTQG may actually have some merit but we'll see. I'll hopefully update again after experiencing a few more seasons.

Replaced 4 tires at the Novi store. One tire pressure sensor stopped working . Scheduled an appointment to fix . Waited over 1 hour and 20 minutes and still they did not pull the car in . Asked for my keys back and left . Note. A day earlier I went there and they indicated there was a long wait unless I schedule it. So I did for the following day and still did not work.

Great tires so far. Handle amazing on dirt and through rain.
