It took 1000 for these tires to wear in but now they are awesome, much better than the Michelin Defenders they replaced. These give a comfortable ride and extreme performance on wet roads. I can't wait until I get to drive on snow this winter. I highly recommend these tires.

I bought these tires for my VW Passat. I have ave a steep driveway. In the winter it was a real problem for my Hankook all season tires. When I saw the tread pattern on these tires it made me think of the treads on a snowmobile. I took a shot on them. I couldn't be happier. These tires rip up my driveway with ease. They also have incredible grip going down the snowy driveway. These tires are the best tires I've ever had. Thanks Michelin!

Amazing grip on the road yet a very comfortable smooth ride and quiet which some people had a different opinion on. Just look at the design of the thread. The design allows water and snow to easily dispense from the tire assuring full contact under those conditions. My wife and I just retired and want to have a as much of a long life live as possible after all that hard work in the trenches.

It's relatively quiet, smooth on dry pavement, safe on wet roads, and good in wintry roads that are plowed. So-so on ice, as it slides in the direction of the crown of the road when coming to a stop on an icy intersection, but getting moving again, no issues. But... deep wet snow, it's too easy to break traction, since the long tread blocks, while it's good for grip when it's not snowing, makes it difficult for it to cut through the denser wet snow. Yes, my car was initially on Eco drive mode, but then had to switch to a off-road mode to get going again.

I bought these about a month ago after experiencing hydroplaning on the highway on the original tires. As luck would have I experienced a similar rainstorm after having the new tires mounted. They seemed to preform much better. Of course the old tires were worn. The CrossClimate 2s were much quieter than expected given the aggressive tread pattern. The true test will come once snow is on the ground. I'm a skier and looking for better winter traction without the need to swap tires out twice a year.

I purchased these tires for our car prior to heading up towards Kamloops last November replacing our well used set of Michelin premiers. First thing I noticed was the feel of the ribs of the tread design in the steering wheel. These have performed well in snow and rain so far. Tread wear is good so far (expect to get much less with an all weather). No issues with breaking or cornering but we don't have a fast car. 2011 Infiniti G25x

Drove 17,000 miles cross country on these tires. They are good for paved roads, but the moment you hit any sort of gravel drivway, dirt road to campground or sandy path they REALLY suck. My car is not an offroad vehicle but on occasion we would have to take a gravel road or drive to an established campsite on dirt or sand these tires have horrible traction. The whole car shifts side to side when breaking. I have not used these in the snow but I don't plan to as they cannot even handle a little sand in the street.

I've had these on my 2014 Avalon Limited for about a year now. I got them after the surprise snowstorm we had because I saw they were fine in the summer, too. These are honestly the best tires I've ever had. I've always wanted a quieter tire, especially on highway sections where they've put down a layer of gravel over tar, making it very noisy to drive on. There's still some noise, of course, but this is the first tire that has ever made a noticeable difference. I've had no issues with how the car handles or anything. I had to dodge a surprise armadillo on the road recently and had to make a pretty aggressive maneuver to steer around him. My back end only lost traction for a fraction of a second and my steering remained solid. I also noticed a big difference in how well these tires cut through those water ruts that are on some highways. There's another instance where I've seen a big difference with these tires. There's far less resistance when you drive along those extended patches of road water. Unfortunately, we didn't get any snow or sleet this past winter, so there's nothing I can say right now about how well they do there. I waited through the whole winter to write this review, but I decided to go ahead and post it without the winter report.

The jury is still out on this tire. Fantastic job in the snow and winter! However, in the summer, it is a hard riding tire. I feel every bump in the road. I'll go through the summer months with it but next year I'll probably find another to put on my car. My car is a 2020 Lexus RX350
