Like traction you’ll like these tires

The resent ice and snow, these tires performed excellent while traveling 250 miles! Stopping and starting and over snow packed roads total control I felt safe and actually enjoyed the trip!

New year, New tires

We had our doubts about these tires. We didn’t know how they would handle or the road noise. We are throughly satisfies with them. They have an exceptional ride and handling. These are more quiet than the last set we had.

Great traction, life expectancy questionable

Great traction during winter. Safest I've felt in WI winters for years. Treadwear is consistent on all 4 tires, but progressing faster than expected. Lost about 1/3 of the life in 9 months. I don't usually brake aggressively, but when I've needed to stop, I stopped.

CrossClimate 2 is the best American-Made Tire Bar None

CrossClimate 2 is the best tire I've ever owned, bar none. Expensive, but worth every penny. First off, its made in the USA. Second, I put over 43,173 miles on my first set...on a heavy, sporty, fun Audi eTron battery EV. 3.1 years, averaging almost 14k miles/yr. Lots of HP, even more torque, 5500 pounds, spirited driving practically every day, heavy cornering, and even towing. And over 43k miles on these tires and still not down to the tread wear replacement mark!!! Unfortunately, we had a catastrophic puncture and decided it was time to replace all 4 after realizing they were over 3 years old already! The tires from the factory were TRASHED after 27k miles and 2 yrs, so we were stunned to realize we achieved 43k out of these CrossClimate 2's! Third, as the tires wore, they were practically just as grippy in rain and snow. And fourth - the entire reason we bought them in the first place was for the epic traction in rain and snow. Safety is paramount; the longevity, sportiness, and comfort were simply great bonuses along the way. Thank you, Michelin. There are some engineers out there somewhere that are the true unsung heroes of the day here.

This is the second set of Cross Climate I have owned, the only reason it's not the third is because in November of 2022 there was a shortage of Cross Climate and I ended up with BF Goodrich. Not at all the same tire, did not feel safe on wet roads. Replaced with Cross Climate after 37,559 miles, well below my expectations. Cross Climate are the best set of tires I've ever owned. Current set has just over 10,000 miles and still going strong!

Purchase of Michelin tires.

I was good was the day I wanted to purchase the tires. They would be delivered to the store in three days. Three days later they were at the store . I called for an appointment to get them installed and it would be 10 days. I needed tires right away so I had to go elsewhere and buy tires and get a refund on the tires that I purchased from Sam's Club.

Tiers 5 star Service -5

I dropped my car off at 9 AM and picked it up at 10:30 AM. While the tires themselves were fine, the service was absolutely unacceptable. It was clear my car wasn’t treated with the care it deserved. Whether it’s a $5,000 car or a $50,000 car, the rims should be handled properly—but that was far from the case here. My rims were covered in scratches lot more than just photos, the more I look the more I see, and it was obvious they used a hammer and screwdriver to remove the balancing weights instead of a heat gun, which would have avoided damaging the finish. On top of that, there was grease all over the tires and rims, leaving my car filthy when I picked it up. It’s incredibly disappointing that they couldn’t even bother to clean up after themselves. While I’d rate the tires a 5-star, the service deserves a negative 5. If you care about your car, especially your rims, I wouldn’t recommend their service at all. Get the tires here if you must, but take your car somewhere else for installation.

Michelin Cross Climate

Good handling but hate them as were told these were quiet tires and they are soooo noisy it drives us crazy. Would never buy these again and stuck with expensive tires. Pretty bad when you can’t stand to drive our Toyota Rav 4 because of the noisy tires.

Great all-around tire for the Midwest for compact and mid-sized suv

I used to use Nokian's all weather tires, WRG3's, WRG4's and WRG5's and since I got my first set of Cross Climate 2's I've switched all of my cars to CC2's when tire replacement is needed. They' are comfortable than the Nokian's, a bit better mileage, wet performance is about the same it's ok but in winter conditions it's really a step up from the Nokian's even on my VW Atlas that I put 275/45-20 to replace stock 255/50-20s. Just wish we'd get some of the European tech from the Cross Climate 3's.

Safety, durability, and economy all in one tire

When snow, ice, or pouring rain leaves other drivers unsure of their vehicles, the Cross Climate 2 tires on my Mazda CX-5 AWD leave me sure-footed, able to maneuver, accelerate, and stop with confidence. Probably the longest-lasting tires I've ever owned. I get about 30 MPG on average on the highway, so I didn't sacrifice fuel economy for safety and durability.
