Fantastic TV

Truly enjoy this TV. The picture is very good and the sound was nice and very easy to connect to my existing sound system which is even better. The setup was pretty easy. There is help videos in the TV and online help if needed. This replaced my Philips plasma tv which lasted for 18+ years with no issues. So hopefully I will get similar results with this one.

Good purchase, recommended

Thus far this is a great TV and well worth the purchase. OLED is the way to go, no distortion at angles, better reflected light management (sun in windows), and overall a solid TV.

Great Picture and Great Price

I went to buy an LG Oled and took a chance on the Phillips. I have several QLED tvs and this picture is better than those. This TV is the best picture you can get for the price point. I am not so excited about the Roku interface but I am getting used to it. If you are the person who tweaks with all the picture settings you can, but the auto settings are great. And you can mount it on the wall.

A Great TV At A Great Price!

My wife and I cut the cord a few months ago and since then I was looking to upgrade the TV in my den (Man Cave) as the older Vizio UHD unit I had wasn't 100% compatible with YouTube TV. At first, I was ok with just going to a QLED since I didn't want to spend over $1,000, I also wanted a Roku OS as we have it with all of our other TVs and really like the interface. There were some solid choices, but then I came across this Phillips OLED. I had to drive to a different Sam's Club as this model was out of stock in my local location, but when I got there and saw the picture, I knew it was worth the hour and a half round trip. I would almost put it up against OLEDs there that were close to double the price. The packaging was solid and the unboxing was smooth with the TV and the peripherals in perfect condition. I was appreciative for the detailed "get started" documentation included as this was my first OLED. I wall mounted the unit and the Vesa mount and screw were correctly threaded (not always the case with some TVs) so everything went well. As I mentioned, we have several ROKU units (either the ROKU TV or ROKU remotes for our non ROKU TVS) so the initial setup was a breeze. I did make some minor adjustments to the picture settings as my den has alot of windows so it can get bright in the room. But the picture is phenomenal! What a HUGE upgrade over a 60hz UHD. One of the asp[ects I'm most impressed with is the other OLEDS I have seen sometimes have a tendency to have colors that are too strong and don't look as realistic. The Phillips OLED has wonderful color balance combined with the strong blacks found in all OLEDS. We have several seats at an angle in this room and I always noticed that my old unit looked great head on but not nearly as good when viewing from those angled vantage points. With the Phillips, it doesn't matter what position you're viewing from, the picture is crisp and bright. The only drawback is the ROKU remote will not pair with my Vizio soundbar. I've done some research and there really isn't a solution for this. Something ROKU should definitely address, but it's not a deal breaker as I just picked a universal remote. I'm still astonished that I was able to purchase a 65" OLED for the price of a high end QLED! Of course the included three year warranty Sam's provides at no additional charge is outstanding! My other option was a QLED for $900 but the three year warranty offered at the store was an extra $220! You just can't Sam's for value and long term warranty protection on TVs. So if you're looking for the best value OLED out there, I'd say this one is hard to beat. I'm extremely happy with mine! And the staff at this Sam's Club (Northlake, Illinois) provided a fantastic experience! They answered all of my questions and couldn't have been nicer!

Great OLED Bargain

I just received this yesterday and after setting it up it seems like a steal it this price. The picture may not be quite as crisp as my LG OLED, but at $500 cheaper it still delivers a great experience and has much better viewing angles than similarly sized LEDs. I also love the Roku system. I may play around with the pictures settings, but for now the factory presets are beautiful.

65in OLED for under $1000!!!

Great picture, deep blacks and smooth, snappy ROKU menus. Super easy to wall mount. Display is razor thin but huge bump at the lower half for the electronic and connectors. Power cord is too short but manageable. Would recommend and buy again.

Great tv at the price point 🙌🏻

My wife has wanted an OLED for our bedroom for a while and we were excited when we saw this tv on clearance at my Sam’s club for $719, which was a STEAL! (Online price was $999 on clearance) Although we had some issues with customer service being abysmal and useless, we were just glad we grabbed it! 🙌🏻

It had so much promise but falls short

I'm torn, great picture, beautiful, as expected with an OLED. The color is a little strange, and it took awhile to get the picture settings where I wanted them, but I did get there. The design is minimalist but attractive. The built-in Roku is very fast for a "built-in" Roku and that is much appreciated. It handles the brightness of my living room well, and there's no problem with glare. That's the thing, this TV had such great potential. Unfortunately, there were several issues, and I'm returning it. It's a shame, I had such high hopes for this set. The difference between HD contend and SD content can be frustrating. Sorry, it doesn't process/handle SD content very well at all. The TV tuner doesn't appear to grab signal as well as my older TV, that surprised me. Also, the sound level between streaming apps and live TV is very different. I use the HDMI arc connection and for some reason streaming is loud and if you switch to live TV you can barely hear it on the same volume level. Nobody is going to convince me that is normal. There's no bluetooth for using earbuds/headphones. On a modern TV in 2025, that's very disappointing. Here's the dealbreaker, my screen arrived physically deformed, it's curved/bowed by about 3/4". There are also some spots on the actual screen with slight unevenness, almost like shallow dents. It's not uniformly smooth. It's a good deal, $900 for an OLED, but I can't accept the physical defects on the set I received. This appears to be manufacturing defects, so If you do buy this TV, look it over carefully. Just a word from the wise, pick it up "in store" if at all possible.

Faulty Panel!!!

I purchased this TV a month ago. While the video quality is excellent when it works, the TV shuts off after a maximum of 10 minutes—the screen goes blank, though I can still hear the remote sound when I press a button. I’ve tried all the recommended troubleshooting steps. Unfortunately, dealing with Philips warranty support has been extremely frustrating and time-consuming, with no clear resolution in sight.
