This tree arrived in great shape, 4+ft tall with more than a dozen fruit. Lost 3 from shock, after 3 weeks tree is doing great and some of the fruit appears to be growing in size.

Tree arrived within days. Was securely packaged in 6 ft tall, thick cardboard with restraining bands. Planted it within days, and it is thriving. My soil is sandy, but I prepared a bed of peat moss and garden soil. New foliage almost immediately! Very pleased with reasonable cost.

Tree arrived well packaged. Upon opening it the tree was as thin as a small branch. It was the thinnest smallest tree I've ever seen and purchased. Planted it anyway, 5 years later it is now about 10 ft tall and producing a lot of fruit. No special fertilizer or any chemicals. The only think I did every spring was to buy regular potting soil and add to it. They were $50 5 years ago and still $50 today. I might have to buy 2 more.

The first tree was horribly stressed and dying when I received it .they sent a replacement tree that is healthy and thriving in my fruit garden. I’m very happy with this purchase.

It is a very small plant. The plant stem is about a quarter inch, very week. No leaves on the plant when received. No signs of roots even after digging 6 inches on the edges of the pot. They shipped a 2 gallon pot plant in a 5 gallon pot.

I had purchase a tree and it was broken and 2 piece and when I call sams they wanted me to take it back to fed ex and then they told me that they didn’t ship something with soil so finally I call them again and told me that I didn’t have to ship it anymore I got a replacement and that one was ok . It wasn’t a good experience

Received one that is diseased! Black spots all over the leaves. I do not recommend! Sam’s club new online system does not allow you to speak to customer service anymore and making it harder to resolve issues.

plant was delivered well packaged and healthy looking. we dug a hole 3x size of the tree root and added tree fertilizer when planted which worked well with a persimmon tree planted in our old house. Despite of watering it well daily for 3-4 days, it dropped all the leaves and we think it's dead. Sam's customer service was great with a refund though. Plan to try again with a smaller persimmon tree since the larger one is out of stock.

For 7-8 years wating, no flowers no fruits. I'm not sure it's still same company providing to Sam's Club. Sam's Club should be responsible for this also.

What I received was an approximately 3 ft plant with 4 insect damaged, yellowing leaves. And all of the leaves had a gamut of spots ranging in colors (the black spots look fungal...and the purple spots certainly did not make this plant look healthy at all!). Now I have to make a trip to FedEx to return this...what a waste of time and effort. Certainly will not be purchasing plants from Sam's anymore.
