To my surprise this store brand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is delicious! Dry and crisp. Tastes way better than I would have expected for an eight dollar bottle of wine. It’s just as good as wine that costs twice as much.

I did a blind taste test of SB vs 3 other Marlboro Sauvignon Blanc’s. 8 out of the 11 tasters picked this wine as their favorite. That pretty much says it all. Way to go SAM’s!

For years we drank a famous Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc at almost twice the price. On a lark, I purchased this just to compare and it turned out to be a thumbs up all around. In fact, in taste, it was preferred or compared as equal. So, why spend the money and I buy 4-6 bottles per month.

I get when people say how some Sav Blancs taste too oakey and like Chardonnay. I found that's how Californian Sav Blancs are; nasty. A New Zealand Sav Blanc is nice and crisp and that's how this one is! I love it! If I ever get a Chardonnay flavor from this brand I'll switch, but so far so good.
