I purchased this set of tires in 2006 and they have provided excellent service. The mileage and traction these tires provide is the best of any other tire I have owned. This set of tires has 60,000 miles plus and are still going. I regularly tow my boat with this SUV and found there traction both on the road and at the boat ramp to be very good.

Michelin devotee for 30 years. Put these on my F250 truck to replace previous LTX/MS tires since these were no longer available and the new Defender line was touted as soooo much better. Immediately these tires shook my vehicle as though they were unbalanced. I had them rechecked for and they were properly balanced. Secondly, these tires also vibrate on paved roads as if they were knobby style tires or if the lug nuts were loose. They make it seem as though something is wrong with my vehicle.I hate these tires and now I'm stuck with them. I have less than 1000 miles on them.Not up to the quality of what Michelin has previously stood for.

Michelin Defender Tires They make great affordable tires, and safety is a must on the mountain in the wintertime. Great performance, smooth riding, quiet tires, very comfortable ride. Installation was a bit pricey,I need 5 new ones on my SUV now. Yes,I recommend these tires.

I leave home most the time very early before the sun comes up and travel 70 to 100 miles one way almost every day when I'm in town and reliability is very important to me and my family. When I'm out of town my wife's truck has the same tires and it makes us sleep at night knowing we can depend on our travel with Michelin tires. Bought these tires to replace the original tires on my Honda Pilot. Original tires wore completely out by 27,000 miles. After researching tires, not something I care to do again, and asking around, everyone led me straight to the Michelin LTX M/S for my SUV. They were right. My original tires were bumpy, really noisy, and just plain awful. Driving with the Michelin's on is like night and day. The difference was amazing and immediately noticed. The LTX's are quiet, comfortable, and have great traction both in wet and dry conditions. I will suggest to everyone to stay away from the cheaper tires (not sure that anyone should pinch a penny on tires...save that for peanut butter), stop looking, and just get the Michelin's. Your vehicle will thank you!

Replaced the OEM tires with the LTX M/S on our Chevy 2500 truck. The ride and noise was improved tremendously. We only got about 30,000 miles from the OEM tires and the LTX gave use almost 60,000 miles. I am now on the second set of LTX's on the truck. Very good traction in rain and snow.

Since I purchase my 1st Michelin tire in 1996 I have been totally impressed with the quality of all Michelin tires. I tell all my friends, colleagues and children buy Michelin tires just 1 time and you will never buy another brand of tire. The safety performance of Michelin tires is a great confidence builder, I really do feel safer with Michelin's on my vehicle so much I do not have to worry when my wife is out. Please keep up the great workmanship.

Have had direct experience with this particular tire since 2006 when they were supplied as original equipment on the Honda Ridgeline. Now as a retired import technician, I can honestly say that I have never seen a problem with these tires under normal driving conditions. With normal tire rotation, tire pressure checks, and correct wheel alignment, I have seen them last well past 130,000 kilometres before reaching the wear markers. They are a great tire for light duty trucks and SUV’s. I personally recommended and installed these tires to many customer vehicles with very positive results always. I can say with confidence that my recent set of improved LTX Defenders that I installed on my 2008 Honda Ridgeline have exceeded expectations. They are quiet, have great road feel, and improved grip in slippery conditions.

I have used the defender tires for years on my vehicles and love them in every way. Bought a chev pu and the tires were still good, but did not like them and had to replace with these defender tires , could not wait the other tires were loud and did not drive as nice. I will only use michelin tires. My spouse does think it makes that much difference but it does.

I have these tires on my truck, 2009 F-150, and when it came time to get tires for my wife's SUV, 2007 Trailblazer SS, these were top on my list. Since installing them on the vehicle I am more pleased with them than I am on my truck. They are a lot quieter than the tires they were replacing, and the ride is much improved as well. I have been very happy with the quality and value of Michelin products.
