This has a quiet shutting lid. Its fabulous. We have a four legged trash surfer and this trash can prevents her from getting into the trash.

Works great. If it had some rubber feet on the bottom so it didn't slide when you step on it would make it amazing

The trash can itself is great but if you want a color other than stainless steel it has to be shipped. It arrived dented but it was on the backside so I kept it anyway.

I bought this in Copper and I love it. Trash cans are normally an eye sore of a room. I have always hated having one out, but what’ve no place to really hide one. This one is also a soft close, so no slamming of the lid.
