Decent trash can mostly just bad design. We've had this trash can for about 3 years and it finally broke. It would have last a lot longer but the pedal is basically a large piece of plastic thats been made into a lever. All the pressure from your foot pushes a rod up thats being lifted by a PLASTIC pedal and if there is any vacuum created by the lid that makes it hard to lift, then the plastic breaks. The stainless gets dirty and dents really easily as well but otherwise, it was ok. I like the slow close design and the holes at the bottom of the inside can to eliminate vacuum when pulling a full trash bag out and putting an empty one in.

We’ve had our trash can for years. It does have some flaws but it’s been great. When stepping on the pedal, it will open fast but if close to the counter, it’ll let you know. It closes slowly and quietly, which is excellent, keeping all of the odor trapped once closed. It does leave finger prints, as our babies let us know. Final flaw has been the top of the lid, inside, doesn’t have the same glossy protective lining and if dirty, can cause the dirt to stick. But overall, especially for the cost and durability, we’d by another if needed, it has been great.

I was very much impressed when I receive my package. This is no ordinary take out the trash can! I ordered the red can, and it adds a pop of color to my kitchen and compliments any storage area. I was pleasantly surprised that it’s larger than expected. The inside is very roomy and actually fits a normal 13 gallon liner bag. The lid closes quietly. The delivery came within 3 business days!

I ordered the black, expecting a nice stainless steel finish like in the pictures and description, but it's a cheap black glossy finish. If I keep it, it will scratch badly and look terrible in no time. To make things worse, it came with a 5-inch dent on one of the edges. I'm frustrated that I wasted money on shipping this.

It's absolutely not smudge resistant, its easy to smudge like any stainless steel maybe even more so. The quite close is quiet until the last second then the lid shuts with a "bomp" Otherwise it's a really nice looking garbage can and the step works well, the slow close is slow until the last 2" then "bomp" 4 stars it will do

I really wanted this trash can in black as the silver one they had in store looked beautiful. I ordered it online in black and unfortunately 3 times it came dented/scratched. I ordered a replacement for the 4th time and again… dented but I don’t want to call anymore as it may happen again, so just look carefully!

Ordered in red, disappointed it looks more orange. Noted a scratch on the lid but decided to keep it. Had I not recycled the box, I would return it. The first time used, soft closed fine. Every time after use, the soft close works so far down then drops making an annoying noise. It serves it's purpose.

It does exactly what you want it to, opens when you step on it. When researching this trash can I saw a number of reviews stating their step pedal broke within 6 months and I have no idea how they managed that. It's a 1/4 inch metal bar, so long as youre not jumping on it like a trampoline it won't break. Simple design.

I have now bought this trashcan two times. The first trashcan I bought lasted two years before the step to open the lid broke. I purchased it again thinking maybe I just bought a defected one for it to one last 2 years. The second one I bought lasted less than a year. The same thing happened I went to go step on the lever to open up the lid and it broke.

Works well. I definetly love the slow closing lid. It looks good. I love the fact that you can't leave any finger prints on it, and it's easy to clean. The foot pedal is wide enough. Most definetly recommend this item. Item arrived earlier than expected and in good condition.
