Expensive but good

I purchased these CrossClimate2 tires to replace my beloved Michelin Premier A/S which served me well for many years. Who knew a tread pattern could be this good-looking? Already tried in rain and shine, on rough and slick; love the sure-footed feeling and good stopping I am getting.

I bought these tires Mar 30 2021 .My first set of directional tires and not impressed.I immediately noticed a vibration.Decided to give them a week ,since there were new.They rebalanced and drove them another week before going back to bell tire. These tires on average 3- 5oz of weights which is a lot. The longest measurement of weight was 5 inches.So this is my 3 rd trip back and this time they a ( road force test) ,something I haven't heard of.This machine manipulates the sidewall of the tire, then rebalance.They end up with about the same amount of weights.So I leave and they did this procedure one more . Was told they are, whats considered acceptable limits with minimum vibration.So they are ok for now, I quess. My old worn out pilots were nice to the end .At the first rebalance they told me its probably my rims are bent. They had gotton the tires all mixed up and tried to put the tires on the wrong side of car.I had marked the arrows with white paint so this wouldn't happen.Have to rethink staying with Michelin next time.

Wasn't sure about the tread design but I listened to the tire dealers advise. He was right, they are quiet, great traction, outstanding warranty and really cool looking. I would buy these tires again and I'm very particular when it comes to my vehicles.

Fitted these to an AWD hatchback, mostly driving in the Bay Area with frequent ski trips to Tahoe/mammoth during the winter. These tires exceeded all winter driving expectations, pushing through blizzards and snow covered roads as if a true winter tire, through record snowfall seasons. Matched with a basic awd system, these tires inspired snow driving confidence, never once having to chain up and driving through roads covered in multiple inches of snow. They also performed well during the summer and wet. If you're looking for a single tire solution for snow/summer and switching tires doesn't make sense for you, this is your tire.

Love these tires. Living ion the west coast of Canada the snowflake means they can stay on all year. Running now on both vehicles because I was tired of swapping out tires. But… on the Tesla I would like an option for the noise foam inclusion or a tech to tell me why it is not just default on all tires??

This is my second set. I first purchased these for my Subaru Outback, the were perfect for both rain and snow, not to mention dry weather conditions. I was so happy with these that when I purchased my 2023 Forester, I replaced the dealer's tires with a new set of the Crossclimate2, they feel lighter and I will expect to get almost 60K mile on these as well.

DISADVANTAGES: - Increased Fuel Consumption: Immediately after installation, I noticed a substantial increase in gas consumption—up to 20% compared to my previous OEM tires. After approximately 1000 miles, this improved to 10-15%. However, it's still a significant impact! Given the already high cost of these tires, it's important to take into account the additional expense resulting from increased fuel consumption. SUMMARY: The performance of the Michelin CrossClimate tires is very good, prioritizing safety and hopefully longevity, as claimed by Michelin. However, for my next tire purchase, I'll be seeking similar performance without the negative impact on gas consumption.

An awesome set of tires! Surprisingly quiet and very good traction... had a super confident drive during heavy rains the day after I got them installed. Very happy with the purchase! Acceleration seems to be cut a tightly bit compared to the original tires.

I've had my tires now for a couple of weeks and you definitely can feel the difference with the control of your car. The tires definitely handle the streets better and in a turn the car seems to have better handling. I also love the look of the tire. Since their treads are designed a little differently it gives a tire a different look which looks nice on my 2018 Honda accord hybrid. I hope you find it helpful.
