PERFECT

AMAZING. I put these on my 2017 Vw Golf (currently living in San Diego, CA) but moving to northern Maine in a month. After reading the reviews I decided on these tires and immediately noticed a huge difference. They are SO QUIET and they handle so well. You can tell they have quick response with starting/stopping and amazing grip. Usually with cruise control on going approx. 65-70mph I get about 39-41mpg and with these new tires I now get 37-39mpg so not much of a difference. They are aggressive tires so no you aren't going to get perfect MPG however some other reviewers are being dramatic. Overall these tires are fantastic and worth every penny. Don't hesitate to buy these.

Best tires I ever had.

This is my second set of these tires and I couldn't be happier with them. They have excellent grip in the rain! While they are no specifically snow tires, they are not bad in the snow. They are long wearing and honestly, if my cars factory set camber was adjustable, they would not have worn in the inside. I still had 7/10 tread on all 4 tires after putting on 69,200 miles, except for the very insides. I had wheel alignments done when I rotated them and after discussing this with several mechanics, it's my car and not the tires. My gas mileage increased by 4-5 mpg.

Impressed!

What are difference tires make! I bought these for my Scion XD, and I notice a difference is most aspects of my driving. I also bought wheels that were slightly wider. The grip is so different. My car is more steady, and doesn't shift at the slightest twist of the steering wheel. I have better traction in cornering, even at low speeds. The ride is smooth and quiet! In the rain, I've had no issues and dont feel.like i have to try to avoid standing water in ruts. I have better traction taking off. These tires make a difference across all aspects of driving and so far in different conditions too! I have more confidence in my car and handling ability! I didn't know new tires would be this impactful!

The only tire I trust for my family

Review of the CrossClimate 2 tires. They have impressive versatility, performance, and reliability across multiple family vehicles. Below are my key takeaways: 1. All-Weather Performance: The CrossClimate 2 tires' certification for hybrid and snow performance makes them a solid choice for year-round use, especially for those who would otherwise need to switch between seasonal tires. 2. Reliable Grip: These tires excel in providing firm traction, with no hydroplaning issues even in heavy rain, and they handle snowy conditions well—though for those in extremely snowy regions, dedicated snow tires might still be a better option. 3. Improved Ride Quality: Compared to OEM tires, the CrossClimate 2 provides a smoother and more controlled ride. They also offer aggressive cornering capabilities without sacrificing comfort, and they are not noisy at all. 4. Versatile Across Vehicles: They've performed reliably on a Lexus RX450h, Honda Passport Sport, and Mercury Milan, showing that these tires adapt well to our different vehicle types. 5. Fuel Efficiency Boost: Running the tires 3-5 psi above the manufacturer's recommendation has improved my fuel economy, a helpful tip for hybrid drivers in particular. The CrossClimate 2 tires are a premium, dependable tire that inspires safety and confidence for year-round use while providing peace of mind for the safety-conscious drivers. The only tire I trust for my family.

Great Product

Just had them installed, wow what a difference from previous tires. Very smooth, quiet and definitely a handle ing improvement as well. Can't wait to drive them in snow or rain but expect the same. Only issue is trying to get them registered for the Michelin Promise Plan (like my other Michelin purchase a couple years ago) as dealer did not do it?

Perfect All Season Tires, Especially in Rain and Snow!

I've been driving on these tires for 12,000 miles. These tires work extremely well in heavy rain with no hydroplaning at all. Barley can get these tires to break free under heavy acceleration. Tried them out in 6 inches of snow, they worked extremely well for an AS tire. Great acceleration and braking traction. Tracked very straight when at speed. In the dry, they feel like a Performance Summer tire. They are a little noisy in the first 3000 miles, now they sound great. I recommend these tires to all my friends and family. I have been using Bridgestone 980 AS, for 3 sets, and these are far better. Used on a 2019 Hyundai Elantra Sport FWD.

I like my cross climates if I put the suggested air pressure in them at 35 or 36 I think they're rough riding I have them on my 2024 Honda Ridgeline I put them on the day I bought the truck I run 32 PSI in mine to get the best ride and that sets off my TPI‘s so I just run with a TPI on all the time now which I really dislike

Thread life so short, it makes Kevin Hart look tall

Michelin has always been my go to tires, but I am getting a bit frustrated with its thread life. Put on Premier LTX before the Cross Climate 2. While the Premier LTX lasted only lasted 36,718 miles instead of the promised 60,000 miles in nearly three years of use, the Cross Climate 2 only saw 30,000 miles before the dealer refused to service them. After switching to the more expensive Cross Climate 2 with deeper threads, I thought I would get longer life but alas, here we are after only 30,000 miles of use and threads are already below 2/32" according to the dealer. While the tires are good otherwise, thread life of 30000 for tires with a promise of 60000 miles is simply not acceptable. Basically crapping out at half the warranty distance in less than 20 months (1 year - 8 months) of us. Micheline essentially replaced their discontinued Premier line with a less durable product and reduced the warranty distance so they do not have to cover warranty

We appreciate your loyalty to Michelin and understand how frustrating it can be when tread life doesn’t meet expectations. While many factors such as driving habits, road conditions, and maintenance can impact tire longevity, we recognize your concern given the mileage and timeframe you described. If you would like to discuss warranty options, please visit an authorized tire dealer for a tire inspection and give us a call with the results while you are there. Fantastic for 1 Year then very poor.

I purchased the cross climate 2s from my local tire discounters. The first year was fantastic great wet and dry / snow performance. From what I was told Michelin states that their tires do not lose performance over time. In my experience putting them on a 4 cylinder honda accord after 1 year and around 6,000 miles even after a tire rotation if I give my stock 4 cylinder more than 10% throttle I spin all over the place even in light rain and light snow. Im very upset and disappointed with the performance of this tire and have to drive very slowly wherever I go in any kind of weather condition except sunny and dry.

Not for Wet Snow

I'm using Michelin CrossClimate 2 in size 235/65 R17 on an Audi Q5 quattro (SUV). Overall, the tire performs very well in dry conditions and also handles regular rain without any issues. For everyday driving on wet or dry asphalt, the stability and comfort are good. However, the tire shows serious limitations as soon as there is wet snow or slush on the road, especially around +2°C. Braking performance becomes very weak, and the car tends to slide forward even at low speeds, around 15–30 km/h. In these conditions, the tire simply cannot provide sufficient grip, and stopping distances become dangerously long. Because of this, I was forced to purchase a new set of proper winter tires, as continuing to drive with the CrossClimate 2 in these conditions poses a real risk of an accident and serious danger. A similar issue appears when the road is only slightly damp after light rain during colder autumn/winter days — braking and stopping distances noticeably increase, even when driving slowly. Conclusion: Excellent tire for dry, wet, and mild winter conditions, but not reliable in slush, wet snow, or low temperatures. If you live in an area where wet snow is common, this tire may not be a safe choice during winter.
