I just purchased my second set of AS-05 tires because the first were absolutely exceptional. I am a super picky tire person. I drive a Subaru Impreza hatchback and these tires ride on that car perfect. I've driven through 3 major snow storms in PA last winter (2017-18) - 2 Blizzards - and the tires performed brilliantly. I have 0 complaints - and I've purchased every tire out there - these are hands down my favorite. Very versatile. These tires eat snow and drink rain and ask for seconds.  The tread-life is good, could it be better (yes - last set I got 31k mi and still had 3/32"" left), however I drive 30k mi+ a yr anyway. The tires are excellent for the northeast, especially on an AWD vehicle. Surprisingly, the tires stayed true to performance all the way to the end - noise level slightly, slightly increased but unless you pay attention to dynamics like this the tires were exactly the same from day one until i swapped for the new set.

On my second set of these, wear issues on heavy Flex Limited ecoboost AWD. Never get near stated treadwear, car has under 100k miles and worn out latest set (don't remember what O.E. tire was or how long they lasted but need new tires at 97k. Noisey and worn on inner aspect.

I bought these tires to replace OEM run flats on my BMW 328i Sport Wagon.  These tires are quieter, incredibly better riding (it rides like a different car and everyone, especially my wife who rode in the car with the OEMs notices) and offer identical if not better handling.  Yes, these are not run flats but that's what a gold AAA card and Slime and compressors are for!  I bought these tires for an excellent price and would/will buy them again with no reservation.

When my car has been sitting all night or day, the tires seem to flat spot and the ride is bumpy for a few miles until the flat spot works it's way out. Other than that they are good tires. Traction seems to be really good in the rain (haven't had snow since I bought them) and they have a former sideway than the Michelins I had so they don't seem to roll in curves. Probably not the traction of the Michelins on a track but I don't drive in a track and they give me a more stable feeling in curves at road speeds.

My car (Lexus IS 350 F Sport - AWD) is known for going through tires very quickly (typically 15,000 - 18,000 miles). After trying tires by Bridgestone (OEM), Cooper and Continetal, I finally tried the General Tire G-Max AS 05's. I have just purchased my second set of the G-Max tires and I have been very happy with them in terms of handling, lack of road noise, durability, etc. The fact that they are competitively priced means I will likely stick with these tires for as long as I own this car.

I put these on a 4 cyl z3 and there is basically no chance of spinning the tires even in the rain. Very grippy. Pretty quiet. Steering feels much better then the kuhmos they replaced. The only negative i would say is that they get flat spots from sitting and it takes 10 or so miles for it to smooth out. Since its just a fun car it seems to be the case most of the time i get it out.

After having no luck with my previous two sets of tires, I finally caved and listened to my friend who told me about these G-MAX AS-05 that he had put on his wives car. I have been nothing but impressed with them so far! The best feature by far is the traction that they gave me this past winter, as note earlier, my previous two sets of tires made winter driving a hassle, but these G-MAX AS-05 made me feel comfortable every time I took the wheel no matter how bad the conditions. The tread life and have both been great as well and my cars fuel economy has improved already making up for the cost of the tires. I will be buying my next set of tires from General thanks to this great product.

Replaced a set of Toyos that were awful in the rain and really didn't do it for me on corners.  VERY happy with these.  I can drive in the rain now without fear of slipping out.  I also feel that they corner 100% better than the Toyos did.  I feel more firmly connected to the ground, they tend to be a lot quieter as far as lack or squeaking at every turn.  Not sure I'd buy anything else going forward.

Bought these tires a few months ago and probably 7k miles. Make sure you keep on rotating the tires. My tires got choppy but rotating helped. Very good wet grip and dry handling. I push my car on the weekends in turns and the tires handle it great. Only complaint is the tread noise. On the highway they do get a little humm but nothing that's over bearing.

I bought a set for my MK4 Jetta and these tires really perform well in all conditions. They had plenty of traction in a couple inches of snow and never left me stranded. Wet traction is also fantastic. They are quiet and plenty comfortable. Highly recommended.
