Sam's needs to bring back Cane Sugar. I do not like this inferior product of beet sugar. It does make a difference, a huge difference. Please bring back Cane Sugar.

I did not realize how much difference a sugar made in baking. I told my daughter (who is the baker) that she must have missed something when she complained about the sugar... It was I who missed the fact that this is beet sugar and not cane sugar and thought this was merely a brand replacement to the C&H brand that the club carried before. I will be looking for a different place to purchase sugar, unless the club brings back the C&H brand or a comparable CANE SUGAR.

I grew up in Idaho, where sugar beets are grown in large quantities. There are sugar beet processing plants as well. I like the beet sugar better than cane, I find it has more "sweet" content. My husband is from NC and loves his sweet tea, he finds that beet sugar has more sweetness than cane. He uses fewer spoonsful to get an equal flavor. So it is not just my northwest tastebuds that judge the sugar. I have not found a significant difference in my baking, as other reviewers comments claim they do. I am still happy to have finally found a store that stocks beet sugar, I hope they don't drop it based on these other reviews.

I'm glad this is offered, I do a lot of baking and saves me trips to the grocerystore.

I have been buying this for years. It’s a staple in my kitchen.

Quality is good but packaging is bad. Bag leaked in my car. Probably lost a pound of sugar.
