[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ticonderoga pencils are the best pencils. They are sturdy, long lasting, harder to break than most and don't mess up pencil sharpeners!! I can see why teachers ask for ticonderoga over any other brands!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like that they were already sharpened although some of hem broke. They write and glide across the paper nicely. They're #2 so they can be used in school which is awesome. They are a comfortable size and nice and easy to hold.

The best thing is that they come pre sharpened! Also, the lead doesn't keep breaking off every time you sharpen them. They are strong and write nicely! These are my go to pencils. I buy them often and will continue to!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a sample of these pencils & they're the best out there!!! The box was opened but none were missing, they even came freshly sharpened!!!! They had a great smell of wood & lead brought back memories of when I was in elementary school!!!! They're lightweight, smooth, write perfectly & has a good eraser.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The #2 american wood logo pencils are smooth to write with and the lead is strong. I can use them while working and know that the lead won't break. The size of the pencil is good, and I can use one for a long time without having to replace it.

Ticonderoga are the best pencils out there! As a teacher, I discovered early on that a pencil sharpener eats cheap pencils. They don't sharpen evenly, leaving a coating on one side of the pencil. Because of that, nearly half of the length ends up being wasted in the pencil sharpener. The pre-sharpened ones save a lot of initial time and effort, important if you are buying for a situation where you need to pass out pencils to a group! Will not buy any other kind of pencil!!

They are so easy to sharpen and you don't experience the "shortening" of the pencil as you sharpen it, as you do with so many others. One sharpen and the pencil is gone, but not with these! You don't have to press hard, they naturally write "dark" without pressing hard. The erasers that are on the tops are one of the best, and don't leave streaks or a residue after using. I've used these with my kids since they started writing with the big fat starter pencils and they still prefer these, as they have gotten older, over mechanicals. Highly recommend and will continue purchasing for all of our writing needs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are not the same Ticonderoga pencils I used when I was a kid. They used to be a high-quality pencil. I hadn't used the brand in years and I was looking forward to using them again. They do not sharpen well, the lead breaks and the wood is rough--like feels like you might get a splinter rough. My daughter writes A LOT so I asked her opinion as well and the verdict was the same. I wish the quality was the same as it used to be!

At first I was worried that I could have gotten pencils for a cheaper cost but they are worth the money. My daughter is learning to write so she erases a lot. These pencils allow her to erase until her heart is content without leaving any trace marks. The eraser glides over the paper. They also work well on recycled paper! I'm a true fan now!
