Ticonderoga is just the best quality pencils. I got them for my children we were tired of cheap pencils you couldn’t even sharpen.

My 17-yr. old insists on Ticonderoga pencils! And I gotta admit, they really are lovely pencils. I mean, a pencil is a pencil as far as I'm concerned, but a pencil where the lead and the eraser are highly compatible makes for nice clean erasures. It's frustrating when you pick up an Office Max pencil to make an erasure only to find a horrid blood-red smear across your precious paper! I can count on Ticonderoga pencils to erase perfectly every time. I'm a Sudoku addict too, so a pencil that "Mom" can count on is important too! I mean, sure, maybe you can find a sale on "No. 2 pencils" at Office Max that are HORRIBLE but only cost 5 cents apiece. But why not buy the best pencil you can buy and splurge for the cost of 20 cents apiece? Life is too short to put up with worthless Office Depot pencils.

If you love your child's teacher or appreciate them for what they do - invest in the Ticonderoga pencils! They don't jam up the pencil sharpeners that teachers often replace out of their own pockets. So let's hear it for the Ticonderoga pencils! Hip! Hip! Hooray!

Since one granddaughter's school specified only this brand on her supply list, I asked why. They said this brand is the highest quality and it helps to not have 'pencil issues' to keep the kids focused. Since the school asks for pre-sharpened, I'm not going to sharpen so many pencils. This brand is a must.

I would recommend the Ticonderoga pre-sharpened pencils to anyone who uses a pencil. The price of these pencils are somewhat high, but you will get your monies worth. Unlike other less expensive pencils, the Ticonderoga can be sharpened using any pencil sharpener, the point doesn't break off, the erasers work very well. If used properly this eraser, erases well and does not leave streaks or wear a hole in your work. TY!

My favorite pencil. I am an artist and this is quite frankly one of the only pencils I use for sketching and even final drafts, am in love with these, My first pick of pencil!

I know I hate it when specific brands are requested, but with these, I understand why. They sharpen easily, and while the erasers last, they leave little- to- no marks on the paper.

Ordered 3 packs. One came open and there are pencils missing. The package they came in was intact, which means that Walmart packed this case with missing pencils!!!
