There was a bug in the bag with the bread. When I went to return it the employee said I needed the receipt. The return instructions do not say that!!! I told her to just throw it away then!!! I was very disappointed!!

This was my go-to bread for years but for the last 6 months or so every loaf has had a very dry texture, like it had been sitting on the shelf for a month.

Dry, Looking For Another Brand

Why would the bread come with holes in it? Is this just one bad loaf or are many loaves like this? Either way, I probably won’t be buying this one anymore.

The bread had holes in it.

Not as good as Wonderbread. And it's not white bread either, more of white with a tinge of brown. Our normal go to brand is Wonderbread which Sam's Club normally carries but runs out before we get to the store.

I will NEVER, EVER buy Sarah Lee's ANYTHING!!! I AM THE "SOMEBODY" THAT DOESN'T LIKE SARAH LEE!!!
 THERE'S NOTHING RIGHT OR GOOD ABOUT IT!!! The bread was as dry as the Mojave Desert and no body to it way too expensive for the NOTHINGNESS it IS (ORRRR ISN'T)!!! YUK!!!

This bread is a solid go-to if you want something that balances taste and a bit of whole grain goodness. It’s softer than most wheat breads, which makes it great for sandwiches—especially if you’ve got picky eaters who don’t usually like “healthy” bread. The texture is light and fluffy, not dense or dry like some whole grain options can be.

The flavor leans a little on the sweeter side, which I actually like for things like peanut butter and jelly or toast in the morning. It holds together well too, so you don’t end up with a soggy sandwich falling apart.

I also like that it includes whole grain without tasting too “heavy,” making it an easy switch from plain white bread.

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that it doesn’t feel as hearty or filling as some other whole grain breads, and I wish the slices were just a bit thicker.

Overall, it’s a dependable, good-tasting bread that works well for everyday use.
