This is the third set of LTX M/S I've owned and I will not ever own anything else! These tires are perfect for my truck ,long interstate drives or getting a little mud on my tires makes no difference with these babies! My dad always taught me the two most important things on a vehicle were the tires and brakes. He also said your going to get what you pay for, which I didn't always follow his advise. I took the cheaper route and it always cost me more in the end. LTX Michelins will out last and ride smoother then any tire on the market and thats why this guy will never buy anything else. After 20 years of buying Michelins, 1st time disappointed, very disappointed. With 20K of miles over 2 years, you won't want to drive these in wet or snow. Normal inflation checks & rotation was done. It was just amazing to me the dramatic decline in performance after 20,000 miles. Didn't notice any above average road noise & the Honda Element is a gas hog for a 4cylinder engine & 5-speed, so didn't notice gas mileage improvements or decline.

I had purchased some for my Suburban and planned to keep the vehicle until the tires wore out. The vehicle wore out before the tires did. When my tires needed to be replaced on my next vehicle I did not hesitate to replace them with Michelin. I've got almost as many miles on them as I did on the original tires and they have shown very little wear.

Have bought Michelin tires for every car I owned. I bought these tires last week and drove on a short highway trip 3 days later. Horrible vibrations and they ride like a mack truck on constant potholes. The ride beat me to death and could not wait to get out of the vehicle. Loved my vehicle until I put these tires on the auto and regret this purchase already.

I had run-flat Pirelli tires on my new Durango R/T...I replaced them after not even 12,000 miles with the Michelin Defenders.... HUGE Difference! Quieter. Better ride and better traction. I had these on my Jeep Grand Cherokee too and they are far superior to any other tire I have used

I bought a brand new 99 Silverado LT.I got only 21000 miles out of those tires99(not Michelin)lol b/4 they started wearing a lil thin,so I went ahead and bought 4 new Michelins on it in 2 yrs later(01).I still to this day have those same tires on my truck,almost10 yrs later,and still have tread left,and still ride smooth!...,,,Seriously ;) You might pay more for Michelin,but hands down you get your moneys worth!It is NOT only the name Michelin that makes people but your tires,it is performance and satisfaction,hands down the best and safest tire money can buy!Thx.....;)

Bought these tires a month ago to replace the same set. Last set had 96,000 miles on them. Definitely not much left on them so it was nice to replace. Went on three trips already with heavy rains and winds, performed great. Great ride, great traction.

I have this tire on both of my trucks (10 tires between them and I'm not counting spares!) I get excellent wear, as a matter of fact, the last set that I used up got over 100,000 miles on them. The set before that I replaced prematurely at 90,000 miles. Both sets still had street legal tread depth. The tires offer a good, smooth ride that is quiet. I have never had any slipping during wet cornering. All these reasons contribute to the fact that ALL three of my vehicles have Michelins!

Put these LTX M/S tires on my Silverado and I love them. I have 40,000 miles on them and have over half the tread left. I take a 3500 mile trip each fall and the additional comfort I experience while on the road is amazing. I especially like the quiet ride. Here in Florida, they work especially well in the sand we deal with any time we are off the road. I highly recommend this tire and will replace them with the same M/S or the new M/S2 if they ever wear out.

Drove a 2014 CX-5 with Defender LTX M/S tires, went up 10 mils to 235 due to OEM tires being 225. Put 63,000 miles on the CX-5 with these tires and loved them. Traveled from northern Illinois to Florida (Naples) and Colorado (Winter Park) to visit family a few times, and many times up to Wisconsin for fishing or skiing. Perfect traction in snow, good solid ride, no hydroplaning in heavy rain. I do not trust the reviews I read about load tires and bad milage. Just traded the CX-5 in last week for a 2022 Rav4 XSE Hybrid. Picked it up on Saturday and had the comfort tires replaced with LTX M/S tires (again at plus 10 mils) on Monday. Better, more responsive and solid ride, and had a nice snowstorm on Thursday to really try them out. Great tires.
