[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good tire. Same tire that I had and changed them at nearly 60,000 miles. Easily could have gotten the 70,000 miles as rated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Michelins are excellent tires. I have had many years of good service from them. I expect these to be exactly the same.

Love'm

Best tires I've ever purchased! I put them on both of my Tacomas and I'm on my second set on my current daily driver. I get close to 100k miles on each set. Yes, I rotate them and run the appropriate tire pressure as scheduled. The handling of my truck in adverse weather is so much better with my Michelin Defender LTX M/S...even in hurricane rain they grip the road while other vehicles are hydroplaning

Could be Michelin's best tire

Could be Michelin's best tire. OEM on parents '03 GMC Envoy. I normally am not a fan of OEM tires, but these were exceptional. When replacement time came, local tire shop (and Michelin experts) recommended that these tires were still the best option. Just replaced those, as my parents don't drive nearly as much in their advanced age and the tires were starting to show signs of dry rot, which I've read is normal with Michelin's high mileage tires as they just don't wear out! These newest ones are probably the best Michelin tires, and I speak from experience. Another vehicle was supplied OEM with Primacy Tours, which were trash, and I replaced with the Defender2 and while better, aren't the equal of the Defender LTX! I have another vehicle with Pilot Sport All Season 4s which might be slightly better than the Defender LTX, but I have to knock them a point as I can't get 20k miles on them. But they ARE a high performance tire, and phenomenal! The Defender LTX is incredibly quiet, smooth, and resists hydroplaning and tramlining. Haven't bee drven in the snow, but considering how excellent they are in the other 3 seasons, I'm confident they'd perform just fine in the snow. Highly recommend!

Best Passenger Vehicle Tire Out There

Hands down, these are the best tires on the market for passenger vehicles. I've had these tires on 3 different vehicles now. 2 pickups and an SUV. Excellent traction, very smooth ride, and great durability. Provides confidence when on snow, ice, water or other slippery surfaces. Until one of these fails me prematurely, I will never put a different tire on any of my vehicles.

98,000 miles!

Unbelieveable product! This is my third set of Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires. I replaced my LTX M/S tires with LTX M/S 2. MY LTX M/S TIRES LASTED 98,000 MILES AND STILL HAS 4/32" TREAD LEFT! All performance attributes were still great including wet traction and low noise. Replaced them just to be safe. I've not purchased tires anywhere but Tire Rack since 1985 and see no reason to switch tire brands or retailer.

I put a set of Michelin LTX M/S2's on my 2010 F150 Supercab 4x4, and with 40K miles on them when I sold the truck, the tread looked almost unworn. I would not have been surprised to get 100K out of those tires. They were quiet and handled snow, rain and off road equally well. I purchased a 2015 F150 Supercab 4x4 with 30K miles, and the factory Goodyear Wranglers on it were almost at the tread wear indicator bars. They have been replaced by Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires, and I can already tell the difference. Good stuff isn't cheap, and cheap stuff isn't good. You may pay more for these, but will not be sorry you did. Best tires out there, IMO.

This will be the third set of Defender LTX M/S that have been on my truck. The first set was on the truck when I bought it in 2013. That set had 83,000 miles on them. I then bought another set of the same tire hoping they would last as long as the first set. And they did even better with 90,000 miles on those. Now I have the third set on. I hope they do just as well. I check the tire pressure on a regular basis and rotate them every 10,000 miles. Both sets have worn very evenly and ride very nice. I live in MN and they do well in all four seasons. I drive a Honda Ridgeline and it handles very well with these tires.

Good tires

I really like these tires, they are Michelin quality. However, I am giving them 4 stars because my gas mileage was reduced 1-2 miles per gallon, as compared to my previous set of Michelins. The rolling resistance may be greater and they appear to be more of an all purpose/all terrain hybrid.

Not an LT tire. LTX is misleading. BAD

This isn't a LT tire said it fit, but have to sign waiver because not LT rated. Misleading with LTX. Not an LT tire.
