I used buy the older LTX;s what great smooth riding and handling tire and mileage had them on 4 vehicles...now a set of these new LTX Defenders on my 2014 Pro4x Xterra, man these tires RIDE HARD and handing not great at all 15000 miles on them sidewalls are to stiff from on road driving..next time I need tire I"m going back to the BF GOODRICH that they came from the factory new.

Best tire brand ever. I've purchased at least 5 sets over the years. It started when I couldn't get the vibration out one of my trucks, my tire guy said try Michelin tires. That solved the issue and I got 90000 miles out of that set. It's the only tire I'll ever buy for safety and peace of mind.

Along with a great history dating back many years, Michelin is still making a safe and reliable product that can be trusted on any vehicle. When I purchased the vechile, it had Michelin tires already on it. When it time for replacement tires, I wanted the same reliable tires that gave me 60,000 miles even though the rating on the original tires where 40,000,so a got 20,000 miles more out of the tire and I could of still kept going on them. Living in Michigan, the roads and weather where some of the most extreme so I experienced driving on them through all four seasons without one problem. Keep up the good work Michelin.

I had a set of these on my Chevy Blazer some years back. I kept them rotated and balanced every 5,000 miles. I got 102,000 miles out of these tires. I thought they would dry rot before I would wear them out. I only buy Michelin tires for my vehicles. If they come with some other tire when purchased new then I swap out to Michelin.

I had these tire on my 2014 F150 FX4 and they were the best tires I’ve ever had. Smooth and quiet but still offered great grip in rain, snow and light off-roading. The best part is I got well over the 70,000 miles they are guaranteed for and probably could have gone further but I was taking a trip and wanted fresh tires. I hope they make an EV rated version of this tire for my next truck before the factory tires need replacement. If they do I’m in!

With almost 150,000 miles on my 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe, I just recently installed my third set of Michelins. Even though we also own a 2012 Ford Explorer, we always drive the older Tahoe on trips because the Explorer came with another brand of tires that assure we hear and feel every crack in the highway. My Michelins are smooth and quiet, and they make my wife and I feel safer when driving in rain. At age 67, I have tried many different brands of tires over the years and have learned the hard way that when it comes to buying tires, it is not only wise to buy the best, but the extra long tread life makes it the best economic decision as well. Love my Michelins!!!

Ibought these tires in2004 500 miles to work each week now in 2012 i reached 200,000 miles these tires are like an urban legend to those who know me and my truck.some friends i work with have gone thru 3 sets of tires to my one whose saving money . best truck tire made bar none.

I just had 4 new Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires installed on my 2004 Suburban. Just driving home from the service shop felt like I was driving a new vehicle. The ride was smoother, quieter, and more responsive. I had researched for weeks in advance to making the decision to go with Michelin and I am very glad I did. I feel Michelin did their homework with this tire design and definitely got it right.

I leave home most the time very early before the sun comes up and travel 70 to 100 miles one way almost every day when I'm in town and reliability is very important to me and my family. When I'm out of town my wife's truck has the same tires and it makes us sleep at night knowing we can depend on our travel with Michelin tires. I put the Michelin tires on my 2008 Silverado extended cab that has some suspension mods that made it run hard and loud on the stock tires. I also needed higher load rating tires than the stock ones I was rolling on. The Michelins were like nirvana...very quiet and smooth on the road...like buttah, baby! They are wearing very well,too. So, I am going to put a set on my Durango next. Great tire!
