Bought these tires a month ago to replace the same set. Last set had 96,000 miles on them. Definitely not much left on them so it was nice to replace. Went on three trips already with heavy rains and winds, performed great. Great ride, great traction.

I now am on my second set of Michelins on my Honda Ridgeline truck. I replaced the first set after 90,000 miles and still had some tread left. I know I could have gone to 100,000 miles with them if I had to. I use my truck for business with lots of highway miles and I also use it for hunting purposes. The tires are equally exceptional on the highway and in the woods. I will buy them again.

26570R17, I knew the minute I drove away from the dealer, that I had made the right choice. The smooth, quiet, ride, at 40 PSI, was immediately VERY noticeable. I will soon find out how they do on the highway, and during Chicago winters. I am very pleased with this purchase! We drive about 50/50 city, highway, and this is our vehicle of choice for travel. Comfort is important to us, and these really fill the bill. If they are as good as Michelin says they will be, (rain, snow, stopping, traction, handling) I will be a Michelin buyer for everything. BUY THIS TIRE! Even my wife commented on how smooth and quiet they are.

I purchased a used Ford Explorer 4x4 from a Ford dealer with a mis-matched set of tires. Knowing the vehicle was based on a truck platform, I still felt the highway ride should have felt better than what I was experiencing - loud tire whine,vibrations and a rough ride. I quickly replaced the OEM shocks which improved the ride somewhat, but it wasn't until I went to my Michelin dealer and he recommended the LTX M/S tires than I finally had the improvement I was looking for. After I replaced that mis-matched set of tires with the new Michelin LTX M/S's and drove it home, I thought my Explorer had been replaced with a look alike. I mean everything about the performance was dramatically improved! The ride was smooth with no tire whine and no more annoying vibration. It felt like the vehicle was finally gripping the road. And in the rain, it felt like I was riding on rails. Who knew tires would've made such a huge difference? I do now! I finally felt safe and secure, like I now had a vehicle that could take me anywhere. I'm a Michelin fan for life now! No other tires for me.

I have put about 30,000 miles on Defender LTX M/S in all weather and they handle very well on my Honda Pilot. Stop wining about noise! These are noisier than passenger rated tires as these tires are light truck/crossover tires and are able to handle higher weights and loads. I run them about 4 lbs higher pressure than the SUV door sticker for higher vehicle load per the Michelin spec.

Got a good price on these tires over the phone. Salesman switched me to a house brand. We could not get the vibration balanced out after 3 times including a "road force" balance. I insisted he take them off and give me the Michelins for which I originally asked. We installed the Michelins and with one or two tiny weights, instead of all the heavy ones on all the wheels, I have the smoothest ride anyone could ask for. It made me remember the words of a friend who was a service advisor for a car dealer who told people with balance problems, "do yourself a favor and let me sell you some Michelins. In every case it solved the problem. I will ONLY use Michelins!

I have owned multiple sets of Michelin LTX tires on my trucks through out the years and have always had a great service from them.. until now with the LTX Defender tires. I bought these tires to replace a very worn set of OEM BF Goodrich tires that came on my truck. After 3 separate tire shops attempts at balancing the tires I am still left with a very significant amount of vibration at speeds over 50 mph. Very disappointing to say the least!

I have had three sets of Michelin tires on my trucks and would never think of using any other. The reason is safety and wear. I pull a fifth wheel travel trailer, not a dually, and don't ever want a tire failure and never have with Michelin. Also recently bought Michelin for our travel trailer. I have never felt safer!! As a side note, we have installed Michelin on our personal car. The wear is excellent when you ride on these tires and the feeling of safety can not be better. Highly recommend the Michelin tire family if you are looking to replace your old rubber.

Sometimes it takes awhile to realize there are products that paying alittle extra for up front return far greater value AND performance over the long term. Michelin LTX M/S - LTX M/S2 tires examplify that truth. After several sets of supposedly "quality" 6-ply tires for our Suburban used to pull our Airstream trailer and having a tread separate on the last set while towing at 55 mph on a very not day in northern California, we installed Michelin LTX M/S tires and have nothing but good things to say. First the Michelin tires DO NOT LOSS AIR PRESSURE between our trips like the previous "quality" tires did. Second the Michelin tires are more round AND required minimum wheel weights to balance. Thus the ride quality is far superior to the previous "quality" tires. Third even running the same 75 or 80 psi as done previousily with the other "quality" tires in the rears on the Suburban, the stability of the Michelin's is far superior. Bottom line, I have recommended Michelin to all that will listen in our Airstream group and many are making the switch as I did. FYI we recently purchased an Yukon XL to replace the aged Suburban with over 200,000 miles and had the new LTX M/S2's installed. My new LTS M/S tires look much better than the sample picture Michelin has posted. The sidewalls have a nice look and the tread looks better. If these tires get the miles that Michelin claims, and if all the positive reviews I have read are true, than I may be one happy new tire buyer. I will let you all know if I get the 60k+ miles in a few years.
