Bought these tires after researching options for my 2018 Sierra SLT. Looking for the tire that would give me the best overall ride and still be a "truck" tire. These tires give a super smooth ride and are very quiet. So far they have handled rain/ wet roads with no problems. Living in Michigan, snow will be the next obstacle to tackle. Hope they handle the challenge well.

I purchased a set of Michelin Defender LTX for my wife's Lincoln today... Wow, What a difference from the OEM Pirelli's that came on it new.. We commented many times about how disappointed we were with all the road noise this Lincoln had.. Little did we know it was the Pirelli's. After two sets of them I wanted to try something else and low and behold, the New Michelin's did the trick. The road noise from the car is sooo much quieter now. I wont be putting Pirelli's back on this car again!

I replaced these same tires on my 2012 Toyota Highlander; this time, they are so loud that you cannot hear the radio. What is the difference from when I bought these tires 3 1/2 years ago? I figured it was just me but now my wife and son-in-law have driven the car and everyone has the same complaint It was too loud. You notice it at about 35 MPH and up. I have these same tires on my 2015 Tacoma Truck and don't have this noise at all. Is there a chance these are mounted wrong?

The only compaint I have is that one of the tires failed less than 2 weeks after purchase. Traveling 65 mph on a straight stretch, my drive wheel tire had a side wall blow-out. This could have proved fatal had it been non-straight stretch road. However, since it's replacement there has been no problem and we are more than satisfied with them.

I have been purchasing tis type tire since my truck since 2000 and have nothing but great thing to say about the ride, wear and durability of these tire. I have purchased all types of times in almost 40 years and now I am sold on Michelin that they are the only tires I purchase now for my veheciles.

The Michelin man probably doesn't want to hear this but the last set of LTX M/S 225 70R15 tires I got 128,000 miles out of them and when my dealer could not locate another set for my Ranger they got me 235 70R15 and I've got 90,000 on these tires and they should last easily as long as the first set. I drive as a regional courier in the Kansas City area and went through OEM tires, replacement tires from other manufacturers and I will always buy Michelin's from here on out!!!!!

My Honda Ridgeline came with Michelin LTX/MS on them from the factory. After almost 66K miles they were still passing inspection. These are great tires for me and my truck. I just purchased a second set and if I get another 66K miles all is good. The rating was for 60K and we surpassed that. The ride is great and those few times I am off road or in the snow, the perform great. I am one happy customer!

This is the third set of LTX M/S I've owned and I will not ever own anything else! These tires are perfect for my truck ,long interstate drives or getting a little mud on my tires makes no difference with these babies! My dad always taught me the two most important things on a vehicle were the tires and brakes. He also said your going to get what you pay for, which I didn't always follow his advise. I took the cheaper route and it always cost me more in the end. LTX Michelins will out last and ride smoother then any tire on the market and thats why this guy will never buy anything else. Vacation this year was to Florida and as we were driving through Georgia we encountered a series of very heavy rain storms. the rain was heavy enough to slow traffic to 30 miles and below on I-75. when we got to our destination for that night the second vehicle that we were traveling with was remarking about all the hydroplaning that they had experienced. we were surprised because we had not experienced any even though there were times there was water on the highway. I attribute this to my Michelin tires and I am glad that they always keep me and my family safe.

I bought my Pilot new it now has 81,200 miles on it with the same original tires. I'm looking for new ones now before winter and I'm having a hard time finding them in my area. Why aren't people stocking what really works. I thought about trading it in and the 2 dealers that looked at them said those aren't the orig. when I said yes they are their comment was that's one for the record book! I live on a farm in SNOW country and they are by far the best, all around, worth the money tire ever made!!!
