The room where my PC is located gets incredibly dusty. Here i will show my PC that had not been cleaned for about 3-4 months. I use the PC daily and buy many, many cans of air duster, a year. Considering this will last at least 2 years (I'm sure more with proper usage and maintenance), it really is worth the price. It is just as strong, if not stronger than the cans. Also, with cans, you have to have at least 2 on hand, when cleaning a PC like mine so you don't have to wait so long for them to un-freeze, not to mention use in small bursts. With this device, it's just a constant air flow at the same strength. I will say, after about 10-15 minutes of use, the container became warm-hot, but at that point, I was already done. The attachments, i can't comment on that much because the main one is all I need. However, the small brush one, while a bit awkward to use, by holding it with my hand, worked pretty well to clean the PC intake screens. The only disclaimer i have, regarding my "after use" pictures, is that the cpu fan (big fan in the middle that says AMD) I cleaned the inside part of the fan with q-tips, but that was the case with cans as well, as it's an awkward place to reach. Overall, this works well, and my PC cleaning time by at least half. Oh, and yes, it is as loud as a vacuum, but it's no issue for me considering how well it works.

I've been quite pleased with this unit. You can expect about 80% the power of canned air. This product is rather loud...so use outside :). Gave it 4 stars brcause it's less than perfect. No freezing like canned air. Long run times possible unlike canned air.

I thought of this item to help clean my base board heating , since it's hard to get a vacuum attachments down to get to fins, so this little blower blows the dust out under and then I can vacuum the floor. It has a long electric cord and is small to get close.. love it..

It's a bit expensive but worth it. The unit is very well built, feels like steel construction. The thing has some serious torque. Very powerful. No more cans of air filled with chemicals and ending up in landfills. Also made in the USA so that's a plus for me.

I bought this Metro Vacuum ED500 DataVac ...not exactly sure why they call it a vacuum when it's actually a blower... to clean my PC, but found that it really packs a punch and it can also be used as a leaf blower: I'm not joking! This thing is built like a tank and the quality of the construction reminds me of something built back in the 50's or 60's. Yes, it's loud ...buy some foam earplugs... but anything that cranks a lot of air is going to be loud. There are indentations in the attachments and a matching pin on the blower nozzle so the attachments will snap on and stay secure. You'll need a small screwdriver to push the pin down so that the attachment will slide over it. I'm totally impressed with the ED500 and it has quickly gained 'favorite-status' in my collection of workshop tools and gadgets.

Could use more power.

purchased the MetroVac ED-500 for computer and sewing cleaning out small parts. Stronger then a can of air, and it does not run out. No empty can to fool with, no smelly residue when using it. Great gadget!

When I recieved the unit unboxed it plugged it in turned it on I am very surprised it works very well. werthy product.
