These are so fire

I have a 2024 Rivian R1T, and these tires came stock with the truck. These tires are genuinely phenomenal. I really, really like driving in them. I have 22-in rims on my car, and I mean they ride so well even though the wheel is just huge

My Third Set, My Second Set Saved My Life

I heard the name "Michelin Man" decades ago. My first introduction to car safety came from seeing a blowout at high speed. A man who rebuilt a big-block in my Mustang explained that the best tires are Michelin. Decades later, a microburst dropped a record 19 inches of rain per hour on I-45. I could see the rooster tail of the water my tires pumped out of the way as I moved forward. Countless vehicles around me went off the road. Many were hurt, two died, and I was shaken. And the ride is quieter, more comfortable, and always gets me where I am going. So, yeah, you can call me a Michelin Man!

Yes

Just couldn’t say enough. Paying a little bit more money upfront means a huge return later on down the road so to speak. My Michelin defender ones lasted 70,000 miles and we’re showing slight signs of cracking. The traction was still very good and if I had to, I could’ve pushed it another year. I had them rotated and balanced once about 40,000 miles ago, we’ve been across the country twice and I tow regularly. Just doubled down on a good thing then purchased the defender twos. Best of the best in my opinion. If there had to be one complaint with the first tire would be that it picked up small rocks on gravel surfaces. A very small price to pay, Along with the cost for this type of quality. The quiet, the ride quality, limited body roll, etc. I put them on my dad‘s car, on my wife’s Prius and on our work truck. Don’t get me started lol! I’ll never buy another brand of car tire again.

Very disappointed. Returned them.

I was very disappointed with these tires. They were noisy, rode roughly, and couldn't be balanced correctly. Luckily my dealer took them off and switched them to Toyo tires. There's no comparison! My dealer told me that Michelin tires are going down in quality. I hated to hear that as I'd always been a loyal customer.

Best You Can Put on Your Pickup

My 2004 F150 is on its 2nd set. The first set went over 100,000 and my 2nd set has 75,000 and still has good life left. The Michelins are the only replacement tires that balanced out smooth and road very quiet. The long wear is a great bonus! Purchased 2015.

Quiet, efficient, good looking tires mostly for on-road service.

Quiet, efficient, good looking tires mostly for on-road service. Comfortable on the od good grip and low noise. Thread is strong and long lasting. However, shoulders are fragile and easy to puncture (non repairable) or get bumps. That's why I'd suggest to stick to the paved roads only.

Best light truck tire on the market!

When ordering a new GMC, I read as many tire reviews as I could find. The Michelin Defender LTX M/S generation 2 was receiving rave reviews. After a lifetime of burning through all brands of tires on a variety of sports cars, trucks and passenger cars, experience has taught me to stick with Michelin. And these new Gen 2 offerings were the best performing truck tire for the road, bar none. They also had the best warranty. They are more than adequate for light off roading and boat ramps, but on the road are the smoothest and quietest tires I hae had on any truck. I’ve run everything, from road tires to All Terrains to Mud tires, even installing non radial tires on a swamp buggy I owned. (Safer when airing down for very rugged conditions off road-Florida is 90% sugar sand and like 10% mud, so All Terrains and M/S tires generally do better on most conditions. The ride after installing thee tires is WAY better than any others I’ve used. The tires are so quiet I initially was hesitant while towing. But the traction is excellent off road with the sipes on the side and the generally self cleaning tread. More importantly, handling in bad weather and wet braking are all excellent. High speed travel on the interstate is very quiet and composed, just like a passenger cars tire. The occasional road trash and a couple poorly laid curbs and damaged asphalt have caused no damage, as the tires stayed in balance and showed no punctures or cuts. I do make a point of rotating every oil change an remove any stuck gravel or debris every time I wash the truck. I have automotive engineers in the family who advise running 80% of the max pressure on the sidewall and this has yielded very long tread life. I have absolutely no complaints and when my youngest son returns from college I will be putting Defenders on his Nissan as well. These tires cost a little more than average but give you much longer tread life and superior handling and braking. There are many good tires on the market but Michelin generally excels in every category for most people. When in doubt, just get Michelin. There is a reason why my company only used Michelin on the truck fleet when I was i the trades. This particular model is another win for Michelin.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Tire – Smooth, Quiet, and Built to Last

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Tire – Smooth, Quiet, and Built to Last I couldn’t be happier with the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 tires. From the moment they were installed, the ride quality was noticeably smoother and quieter than anything I’ve run before. Highway driving is exceptionally stable and comfortable, even on long trips, and road noise is minimal. Wet traction is excellent and they inspire confidence in changing conditions. Steering feels solid and predictable, and the overall ride has a very “OEM-plus” feel — refined, controlled, and comfortable. These tires truly shine for highway miles and daily driving. What really sets them apart is the balance: comfort, durability, and performance all in one. You can tell these are built with quality materials and thoughtful engineering. They’re not the cheapest option, but you absolutely get what you pay for — longevity, safety, and peace of mind. If you want a premium all-season tire that delivers a smooth ride, long tread life, and dependable performance, the Defender LTX M/S2 is worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Not worth the money

Was excited to try out some Michelin tires on my Yukon. Went for an oil change and a tire rotation other day, mechanic told me he couldn’t rotate them because they were completely wore out!!! And it would not pass MVI!!! I went with the defenders because it had the best rating, unfortunately for the amount of money I paid I got half the life span out of them compared to the Bridgestone I had on it before, sometimes the reviews get it wrong, definitely did in my case, they were wore out after a year with next to no mileage and would not keep air.

Confidence inspiring

These are not winter tires, these are not meant to replace winter tires BUT if you are like me and rock all seasons all year long- these are the tires you’re looking for. This past winter (in a pickup truck) I was able to slowly crawl down a slippery mountain road, I passed by over a dozen cars pulled over, 3 accidents, and watched someone lose control and graze the guardrail. I drove slowly and with extreme caution- but these tires never slipped once.
