Terrible Tires with Uneven Wear and Low Mileage

I bought a Jeep Rubicon 8/22/18 with Goodrich All Terrain KO2 tires. The tires are rotated at the dealership and alignments completed twice, Dec 2019 and again Sep 2020. There is terrible uneven wear on the tires and I have not been off road. Jeep Dealership says the vehicle is aligned to specs and they blame the Goodrich tires as the jeep is still pulling to the right after a realignment in Sep 2020. The jeep is hard to drive with it pulling to the right most of the time. These tires are NOT meeting performance specs.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, KVBeach. We would recommend getting a tire inspection at an authorized dealer. Please have the dealer contact us at 866-866-6605 to report their findings.

Best tires ever made!

I've put around 170k miles and halfway through the 3rd set of these tires on my Tacoma. I put the R16s on my Land Cruiser and couldn't be happier after 30-40k miles. They run better than a mud tire on the highway, excellent in ice and snow, and outperform many other brands of mud tire on the trail. I doubt I'll own any other tire until they make a KO3.

Outstanding!

I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado Z71 1/2 ton lifted 8". 35x12.50x18" KO2's are impressive. I've never had a quieter, better handling, and most aggressive all terrain tire till today. 10 ply all terrain KO2's have no drag on my application. Compared to all the all terrain tires in the market, the KO2's beats it. Not only by price but definitely the performance that these tires can do. Snow is coming soon and I will come back and give another review for the winter. Don't spend your money on mud terrains. These KO2's will do the job and last longer.

Lasted 90k on my 4Runner!

These were the stock tires on my 2019 4runner (SR5 Premium w TRD t, and multiple auto shops have expressed how they can't believe these are the original tires on the car. They still have a lot of life left in them, but I am deciding to proactively replace them at 90k. I am replacing them with the exact same tire. They handle Tahoe snow extremely well. Highly recommend!

Very Disappointed!!!!!

I have owned the original TKO and was a very satisfied customer until the new TKO2 was installed in Jan16. At first they were great in the snow and on the road but at 1800 miles they were vibrating pretty bad, dealer re-balanced, so no big deal I figured the roads were rough any thing is possible. over the next 8200hwy miles /6 months these tires have been re-balanced 7 times and tread wear is down over 40%. Dealer says at this rate by Nov. tires will be bald which should be roughly 20k by NOV! OUCH! Since the purchase these tires have created a bad pull especially upon braking and they are vibrating most of the time even after having road force balanced but I tried to deal with it. I have had the truck to 3 alignment shops and the truck has nothing out of spec. The brake shop found nothing wrong with the brakes. The tires aren't cupping but only wearing smoothly and evenly on front and rear. These tires are not near the quality that they used to have the reputation for. The older version on the same truck went 72k hwy/city and still had tread left but if I would have kept the newer version I would have had to buy all 4 tires at-least 3 times in order to achieve the miles on the older TKO set. That was pretty sickening looking at the cost of the future tire cost at that rate! I purchased 4 new Michelin's and so far after 2k they don't need balanced, no road noise, truck has no pull what so ever LOL I can let go of the wheel and the truck tracks straight! Its amazing all the troubles that these tires created! I took TKO2 tires back to the dealer and they contacted BFG. BFG purchased tires back at original purchase price so I can NOT complain about the customer service! BFG stood behind the product without question so hopefully BFG gets the problem fixed so I can have confidence in the tires again! I wouldn't recommend the TKO2 but would recommend BFG line which is owned by Michelin tire. The truck is a 2012 F350 diesel 4X4 crew cab short bed.

excellent wear , low noise, traction snow, rain, mud

I have used these tires for numerous vehicles I have owned, three diesel trucks all towing 10,000-12,00 lbs tool trailer. along with off road adventures, and road trips. I rotate every 5000 miles. the wear is always even and last me 40,000 + miles. I recommend these tires to anyone need performance and wear and stability.

The new design and formula is very poor and wears out fast.

I've been a huge fan and using the all terrain bfgoodrich TA tires for many years on all my trucks and was happy But now it seems with the new redesign of the tire the rubber wears out around 4-5000 miles and don't balance very well I am very disappointed with this tire right now and I am considering changing brands because it's becoming hard to stay out of the tire shop. The tire shops want to wash there hands of these tires.

Perfect tire for my Michigan Ram 1500

Have had these tires on for 3 months now. Driven through standing water and 12" of snow here in Michigan. These tires go through everything! I don't drive too fast, but took these tires up to 85 mph just to test, without any issues. I feel more road at low speeds with a slight increase in noise. And so far, that's the only "down side" which I consider negligible. Above 30 mph they feel like, sound like any other quality highway tire. Love the way they look! Can't wait for a 18" snow dump just so I can go drive around again.

Very good AT tire

Ran these on our Chevy Tahoe. Here are my disclaimers. 1) I buy my tires where rotation and balancing is free. 2) I rotate and balance the tires every 3500-5000 miles depending on how they appear to be wearing on the front. 3) I keep the air pressure at the optimal setting for the Tahoe and 5) I can tell when my vehicles need alignment and do so as soon as I see the alignment is out of spec. I've run BFG A/T's on most of our 4x4's since the early 90's. The last set we wore out ran 117,000 miles and our tire dealer said they had, at least, another 10,000 miles of tread on them, that was on our 2002 Chevy Tahoe. That is the longest I've made a set last. Most of the time, depending on the vehicle, my F-150 I only get about 70,000 miles out of a set. The F-150 wears the front outer edges faster than out Chevys. These tires are a very good balance of on road and off road compromises. They are okay in mud but you must spin them up a bit higher to clean out the tread. They are exceptionally good in snow and very good in icy, slush mix we have up in northern Ohio. When I lived in California, I found they were pretty good on sand and loose dirt. Overall, I would rate them one of the best tires Ive owned over the past 40 years. I personally don't like the look of the new sidewall design but the current tire is a bit better than the last generation so I can live with the design. I'm sure in another 4-5 years BFG will update the tire again. I've never had a BFG AT fail due to the manufacturing process. I have punched a hole through the sidewalk on a construction site and I have put a few nails through them over the years.

35 no its 34"

35x12.50 r17 10ply is 34" tall no more

I just purchase a set of 5 tires from a local dealer here in Greenville nc. I did my homework on what I wanted. looking at you spec sheets on sizes and what they really measure. I purchased 35x12.50 r17 (part number 50022) in the 10ply a/t ko2. the tires were mounted on a 17x9 rims made by fuel rims company. with 35-36psi in the tire not on the jeep it only measures 34 1/8 " tall. With it on the jeep 35-36 psi all 4 tires are at 33 7'8" to 34" tall. So now you have my information on the tire can you tell me why you are selling a 35x12.50 tire that only measures 34 inches tall at best.??? Your spec sheet list it at 34.5 " tall. I understand that it will not be 34.5 on the money however not even 34 is a little much. If i had know they were going to be 34.0" then I would have order your 37' tire which i am guessing will only be 36 at best. I thought that BF goodrich was a company that i could count on for a great product, and being accurate however I guess I was wrong. This is the third set and last!!! I hate the tire does not measure close to what is on it... 35x12.50 only 34" tall at best.
