I purchased a necklace for my mother. I was a bit nervous about purchasing pearls on line but most of the jewelry stores were showing me pearls on their web site, so it was about the same thing. I called for the certificate and the gentleman guaranteed me if I did not like my pearls he would replace them. I was more than pleased! They were beautiful.

Can see no defects, pearls are the same size and color to the naked eye. Just as nice as a strand I bought decades ago from a high end retailer and for about the same price!

It said it was AAA Akoya pearl necklace so I expected quality. The color color was good but it had plenty of blemishes. I was really looking forward my 24 inch pearl necklace since I already have an 18 inch. Unfortunately I had to return it.

I have wanted a classic pearl necklace for years but felt that Akoya pearls were out of my price range until shopping at Sam's Club. After reading some of the reviews I was a bit hesitant because of some negative comments. Nonetheless, I placed my trust in the positive reviews and was promptly REWARDED! When the Akoya 18" (8.0 - 8.5mm pearl) necklace arrived it was breathtakingly beautiful. The pearls looked larger than I imagined, were flawless and perfectly matched with a luministic glow words cannot describe. My husband is not a jewelry guy but even he was impressed. As mentioned in other comments, I requested an Akoya certificate of authenticity by calling 1-877-365-6333 and it arrived as promised with the necklace. The only tricky thing for me is the "fishhook" clasp which is a bit difficult to manipulate behind your neck until you get the hang of it. If you are looking for the ultimate heirloom, a gift for someone special or are commemorating a milestone event this Akoya Pearl Necklace will definitely be cherished. Other Clubs offering Akoya necklaces cost twice as much than SAM's Club and retail jewelers command 3x the price or more. Akoya pearls were part of Queen Elizabeth's usual attire and are worthy of your queen or princess.

These are supposed to be Akoya pearls which are saltwater cultured pearls. They have a pink tinge to them, and it is my understanding that only fresh water cultured pearls are pink. Therefore, I am apprehensive.

My Wife loved them.

More than happy with the appearance and quality. what more can I say.

Product was more than expected; delays were unexpected due to weather.

Bought these as a Christmas gift for my sister, and - WOW! I'm buying a strand for myself now lol
