Note  dimensions of this lamp.  It was not as tall

The thin metal stem did not fit together well and was crooked and unstable. The metal base had a dent in it.  We will not use.

Poor quality

This lamp comes compactly and well-packaged. Other lamps we tried came with lampshades you unrolled from a tube and Velcro’d together. This one arrives fully finished in a bright white with a linen texture. 
The base and stand were easy to screw together by hand, but, when finished, look and feel solid. The two-way adjustable angle of the shade is a nice option. 
Shipping was excessive and much more than I would expect from a Sam’s Club vendor.
