[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s good as a back up but it seems a bit outdated compared to my current monitor. I didn’t use it and it works well I like that though results come in and under three seconds that’s incredibly amazing. Also it’s fairly straightforward and easy to use. I am still getting used to learning how to track other things such as whether or not I tested my glucose before after dinner. One thing that I don’t like about it is the process to draw blood is a bit overwhelming. You have to take the pan apart put the needle in twist to cap off the needle close the pan adjust the number pull the top and then stick yourself I supposed to just having a easier way to just put the pin needle in the pan and and go. It’s not bad but it is a bit tedious I really like it but if I had a choice between getting this in the store or going for a more possibly user-friendly model I would have to go with a user-friendly model because although it’s easy to use some of the steps are in my opinion unnecessary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The True Metrix really surprised me on how well the self monitoring blood glucose meter worked when checking sugar levels. The meter was a perfect size and fit so comfortably into my hand when testing, I didn't have to worry about dropping it. What I really liked is the large display of what my reading was, I had no problems seeing what it said. Although at night time I do have to make sure I have the lights on because there is no color screen, that's one thing I wish it had. The test strips were easy to insert and also had a press button making them easy to dispose. After testing I was able to get a quick and accurate response. This meter has some great features, I was able to set 4 testing reminders a day, meter memory that stores results, setting event tags, dates and time. Overall I am very pleased with the True Metrix and definitely would recommend it!

But the Lancet is really painful and I don’t like it at all…and the case isn’t the best I wish it was different and able to open up and see everything…the meter stays put on the table with the little feet on the bottom which I love.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TRUE METRIX Blood Glucose Meter is easy to use and the display is easy to read. I like that results are quick and easy to understand. The only thing I disliked is using the test solution. It is a step that is not needed with my current meter. Also, the storage bag is a little flimsy and it is difficult to zip and unzip. The test strips are not too expensive, so that is a plus if my insurance won't cover them.

The lancet pen is simple to adjust and easy to hold onto. The carry pouch is a wonderful bonus to keep everything all together.

Compare with my old Glucose meter I found this True Metrix readings work fast and accurate. I also like the features with 4 testing reminder alarms and 7, 14 and 30 days averaging, both provides me much convenient way to keep tracking the condition.

Came with everything you need to get started and has now replaced my old one as my favorite. Definitely recommend this to anyone who needs to replace an old one or is purchasing for the first time. You will not be disappointed!
