The True Metrix Self Monitoring Blood Glucose Meter is easy to use and only takes a small amount of blood. I was able to get results within 5 to 10 seconds. The alarm feature reminds me when it’s time to test her. I’m going to continue to use the Metrix Blood Glucose Meter because it provides such quick results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good meter. Easy to figure out. I compared this meter to my doctor perscribed meter and its very accurate. It works the same way. What I love about this kit it the harpoon. You can select the depth of poke to draw your sample. Just dial it in. I would of gave it a 5 star rating but since "my" insurance wont cover the cost i gave it a 4.. but over all a great tool to keep your health in check.

Upon testing with this and my regular meter, the number was off by 50 points. Other than that it was your typical blood glucose tester. Nothing special or fancy.

The microneedle is painless and the meter itself is fast (4 seconds) and accurate. I love how it has 7, 14 and 30 day averaging so my doctor and I can see where I dip.

She is very satisfied with all its features, specially with the blinking lite that reminds her to release the used/tested strip. Very useful and trustworthy.
